Reuters/Ipsos Poll: Obama holds big 2012 lead over Republicans (Palin Leads GOP)
reuters ^ | June 08 2011 | John Whitesides

She’s up 22-20 on Romney according to Reuters/Ipsos. Paul and Cain are tied for third at 7%. Today’s Quinnipiac poll appears to be a pretty major outlier when you consider that the Governor and Romney have been within four of each other in every other credible poll.

“Four more years of Obama wouldn’t be so bad.”

If America doesnt pick Palin...4 more years of obama is what America deserves.

Becuase If the GOP picks anyone BUT palin...4 more years is what you are going to get anyways...

I’ve already made up my mind.

So spare me the chicken little routine.

NO MORE RINO’S

A gimmick?

You mean like painting an RV, driving all over Creation and playing “will she won’t she” with the media?

A gimmick like that?

She’s gonna need a MASSIVE outpouring of support from Flyover Country to get her far enough over-the-line.

If she decides to run, and I still have doubts, I tink that Romney even with all of his money will lose. The Establishment G.O.P. will wither and die.

I would hope that she would consider John Bolton for VP and Herman Cain for Treasury or Commerce. If She does not run, I would hope that Herman wins and offers her the slot at Energy.

CAIN 2020. He'll be 74 years old.

No, I didn't know that. Kind of changes my VP idea of things (even though Reagan was 69 when he was elected).

Palin needs a conservative VP in her 2016 re-election who will, like Reagan's Bush, be swept in because of Palin's success and will, unlike Reagan's Bush, firmly stay the conservative, limited government, economic freedom course as POTUS for another eight years.

Let’s say I give you some of that. ALL politicians are gimmicky. However, touring the U.S. in an RV is VERY VERY VERY different from putting an arbitrary page limit on Legislation. Even if the first is a gimmick, it isn’t dangerous. The Second is.

Sarah Palin will climb steadily in polls as long as the leftmedia continued to obsess over her. Despite years of unrelenting attempts by the left to ostracize Palin from politics, she remains viable, likable and the subject of interest to many, including the left, even as they continue to whine that she is 'stupid', etc. Rush Limbaugh has commented (and I agree) that the left's continual attacks on Sarah Palin are clear indications that she is the one (possible) Republican challenger to Obama that the Democrats are actually afraid of. I believe that Obama is highly beatable based on the fact that the economy stinks and the president is seen as ideologically frozen in place with his wealth redistribution fantasies that are hurting average Americans and that Sarah Palin could defeat him.

No matter how arrogant and assured Obama is and no matter how much the media pretends that he is 'brilliant', more and more Americans are realizing that 'the emperor has no clothes' and that Sarah Palin is not the cartoon character the leftmedia has tried so hard to sell them. The more Americans see and hear Palin - without the media filter - the higher her approval numbers will rise. Sarah Palin and has the charisma to hold an audiences attention and when she has it, she speaks common sense that people respond to. The Palin naysayers will continue to find fault with her no matter what she says or does and her abbreviated governorship will always be raised so they can call her 'a quitter', but that won't wash over the long haul and Palin, as she has so far, will continue to surmount her detractors. This Reuters poll is just the beginning of Sarah Palins ascendency to the presidency in the 2012 election. Now, all she has to do is declare her candidacy. I hope this new poll will help persuade her to do so.

Why do you say that? I think Cain has an excellent chance of winning. I think he’d knock Obama out of the ballpark.

You go girl. You are the best one out there. The dimoKKKRATS, RINOs and their allies in the media have done all they can to take her down and she is still standing.

Never happen. Forget Cain. Dems have the Black vote, always will. We don't need it. We change NOTHING and if Blacks change THEIR minds and decide to vote conservative, welcome aboard. Going after the Black vote is a fools errand. Running a Black candidate in an attempt to gain the Black vote, political suicide.

The one thing that Reagan did wrong was to keep Bush as VP in 1984. It lead to 24 years of disastrous liberalism.

From an earlier post:

Palin needs a conservative VP in her 2016 re-election who will, like Reagan's Bush, be swept in because of Palin's success and will, unlike Reagan's Bush, firmly stay the conservative, limited government, economic freedom course as POTUS for another eight years.

I don’t see where she is leading anything. Sadly I just see where Obama beats everybody.

"I like this but remember this is Quinnipiac, a liberal push-polling outfit ..."

That would explain this: "Obama leads all potential Republican challengers by double-digit margins, the poll showed."
