Veteran Republican campaign strategist Ed Rollins, who signed on to steer Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann's looming presidential bid, said his recent criticism of Sarah Palin is not part of an electoral strategy.

But the former CNN contributor said he needs to adjust from "being a political analyst back to being a strategist."
"I don't think Palin runs and if she does we will deal with it. There obviously is a trend in the media to link them," Rollins told CNN. "In the long run we want Palin and her people as our allies."
In an interview with POLITICO, Rollins said the Bachmann campaign will be "so much more substantive."
"People are going to say, 'I gotta make a choice and go with the intelligent woman who's every bit as attractive,'" Rollins said.

Two days ago, I would have said that we need Bachmann to stay in congress, but now I realize that she is useless there too. She’ll just vote the GOP elite RINO program right down the line.

He already gave us one more chance. It was on Good Friday when he took our punishment upon himself and died a terrible death to atone for our sins. Easter just proved he really was divine. We were saved the Friday before.
Herman Cain is the man I would tell kids to strive to be like. He is the man not just for blacks to strive to be like, he is the person for all to strive to be like.
His degree in math is impressive, add his masters, add his entire career of business and economic policy and SUCCESS.

I agree. Cain has an aura of respectability the others don’t to the degree he does. I like that he is a little older.
I like that Cain is a little older, mature, been through hell personally, positive, and has a huge sense of dignity, respect, and class about him. I would feel very proud voting for him.

I think that is the delusion with thinking the Palin ‘baiting’ the media and taking the pressure off the other candidates does them any good as they are at some point going to have to take the onslaught. And especially not good when people don’t know who you are and are waiting to see their own faults and what the media has in store for them with little time to recover. Delusional. Bachmann is already imploding.
I've always kinda liked Rollins, but dissing Sarah is a terrible mistake. Sarah is loved by the conservatives grass roots, and it is the conservative grass roots that votes in primaries.
MB has never really impressed me, I think she's fine in congress but totally unqualified for the presidency.
Sarah is much smarter then she gets credit for, much smarter, but she is not a good off the cuff speaker. She always seems to mangle her thoughts, or put another way her mind is way faster then her mouth. If you listen to her speak her mind has moved on to the next idea while her mouth is still working on the first. Only in her prepared remarks or in her writing's do you see that she has a first class brain and knows how to use it.
I guess the MB camp thinks it needs to, and can, take out Sarah. I think not and think any attempt to take out Sarah will in fact take out MB. If I were MB I would not touch candidate Palin with a ten foot poll. And I would be as complimentary as I could about citizen Palin.

Just Damn! I know that but was thinking about my hero Milton Friedman and accidentally used his first name instead of Maynard. Milton Friedman is the exact opposite of Maynard Keynes. If Freidman were still alive he would track me down and do great harm to me for making that error. :(
