Some of Rep. Anthony Weiner's constituents made it clear Tuesday they want him gone.
"Resign Pervert Weiner," read the sign taped on the window of his Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, office.
Whoever posted that was speaking on behalf of many of Weiner's dismayed former supporters in Queens and Brooklyn, many of whom called for his ouster after he admitted to seamy sext-capades with six women - and lying about it.
"I think he should be barred out of politics. He's disgusting and a pervert," Ronnie Homan, 50, of Borough Park, Brooklyn, said after Weiner made his tearful admission Monday.
Maya Goldstein, 44, of Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, agreed, and said the congressman's teary TV breakdown shows he needs help.
"He should resign immediately because of his lies," she said. "He should get some therapy... When it comes time for reelection, I'm definitely not voting for him."
Still, others said Weiner's flaws have nothing to do with his job.
"He manned up to his actions. He took responsibility," said Carl Cottow, 26, of Sheepshead Bay. "He's only human."
"He was foolish, but he didn't commit any crimes," he said.
The tawdry admissions earned Weiner one fan. "Who cares? He's a man. He's not like a preacher. I'd rather vote for him now that I know he's down to earth," said Steve Acevedo, 25, of Sheepshead Bay

When the U.S. dollar dies and our financial system collapses we are not going to be able to get all of the things that we need from the rest of the world so cheaply any longer. That is going to cause fundamental changes inside the United States. Right now, the economic news just seems to get worse and worse, but this is just the beginning. What is eventually going to happen in this country is going to be so nightmarish that most Americans could not even imagine it right now. So are our leaders doing anything to prepare for the coming economic crisis? No, they are too busy with other things. The big political news of the day was U.S. Representative Anthony Weiner finally admitting that he sent out lewd photos of himself over Twitter to women that he was not married to. We have become the laughingstock of the world and the economic collapse has not even happened yet.
New York can’t shake its Weiner.

Weiner doesn’t need to wait for election time. His constituents are speaking and it ain’t pretty like he fantasizes. The guy is a totally narcissist who lives in an imaginal world.
Ted Kennedy, BJ Clinton, and John Edwards are Democrat icons guilty of doing far worse.
