I remember when I put a McCain sticker on the car and the sign went up in the yard. It was October of 08. It took of course him picking Sarah as his VP spot. (I remember just before that the buzz was Joe Lieberman was going to be the one).
Now as I write Romney is in the lead of our pack. He of course is not the conservative favorite. Right not he has three strikes against him and they are big. Romneycare which was the model of Obamacare. Ethanol which is just the same old crony ways. And just last week he stated he believed in the Global Warming Hoax. So now our possible saviour is against us.
Knowing this could you see a Romney '12 sign in your yard or sticker on your car? That is a public statement, and not just simply going to the polls to vote against the One.
I for one can't see a sign placed in my yard or bumpersticker on my vehicle, no matter who is one the ticket with him.
No.
If he’s Obama’s only opposition come Nov. ‘12, I’ll reluctantly vote for him.
Please, please . . . we must unite behind a strong conservative candidate who can start undoing the mess of the past three years. There is no perfect candidate, and we’re all going to have to give a little and come together to take our country back.
Voting for Romney would be a real challenge, but I will do it if he wins the nomination. But I’ll do all I can between now and next summer to see that he doesn’t.
Romney IS Obama with an "R" behind his name.
NOTICE: FR DOES NOT AND WILL NOT SUPPORT ABORTIONIST, GAY RIGHTS PUSHING BIG GOVERNMENT STATISTS
Laz, that would be the equivalent of voting for Obama.
But if it makes you feel better . . .
No and why alll this talk about Romney?
Not in a trillion years.
If they were good quality signs you could put 4 together and compost horse manure in them.
The GOP establishment better understand that.
Obama is going to win if Romney is the nominee because conservatives like in 2008 will not be enthuse enough to rally around him, they know he isn’t conservative and a big phony. People come out in droves to vote for someone and not against someone, even against the likes of Obama. The only way Romney wins is if the economy is so drastically terrible in a depression type way that relief is somebody new, no matter what.
No, I think not.
1. Bumper stickers and campaign signs often draw attention from people who tend to be destructive and/or violent..
2. I’ll be voting for the CONSERVATIVE in the race, even if I have to write that name on the ballot myself.
Conservatives see that Romney is Obama with an "R" behind his name. He's for government healthcare, homosexual rights, abortion and global warming. Tell me the difference between the two.
Absolutely not, no matter who is on the ticket with him
You must really like his hair!
You had better believe that Romney is the libs/media’s pick.
The push for Romney had already begun, you will see the head-to-head competition of Romney vs. Obama showing Romney in the slight lead. While all other polls showing any other candidate behind or way behind Obama. So the mushy GOP’ers and ‘independents’ will think only Romney is ‘winnable’.
Once (if) he’s the candidate, just wait for the media to dump on him. Not too different than McCain as the media darling at first.
Vote for Romney and get Obama lite. No thanks. I'll vote 3rd (Tea) party or write in.
When I told my son I couldn’t vote for Romney, he said to me, “Well, will he run around the world bowing to foreign leaders and muslims?”
I’m not so sure he wouldn’t.
Sure I could, and I could see me in jail for taking a ballbat to the sumbitch who put it there.
Sure...if it’s Mitt against O, I’ll put up a sign for Mitt.
“ABO: Anybody But Obama”
Ditto that. I will vote AGAINST OBAMA in the general.
But no sign or bumper sticker for Romney, Pawlenty, et al.
The RINOs are counting on you!
