Could you see a Romney '12 sign in your yard or sticker on your car?

Posted on 06/07/2011 8:01:36 AM PDT by Sybeck1

I remember when I put a McCain sticker on the car and the sign went up in the yard. It was October of 08. It took of course him picking Sarah as his VP spot. (I remember just before that the buzz was Joe Lieberman was going to be the one).

Now as I write Romney is in the lead of our pack. He of course is not the conservative favorite. Right not he has three strikes against him and they are big. Romneycare which was the model of Obamacare. Ethanol which is just the same old crony ways. And just last week he stated he believed in the Global Warming Hoax. So now our possible saviour is against us.

Knowing this could you see a Romney '12 sign in your yard or sticker on your car? That is a public statement, and not just simply going to the polls to vote against the One.

I for one can't see a sign placed in my yard or bumpersticker on my vehicle, no matter who is one the ticket with him.

It is time to work as hard as we can for conservative candidates, not run around saying what you will do if we fail.

Don't give hope to the enemy, don't even consider losing to the RINOs.

This forum isn't just viewed by Freepers, there are all kinds of influential movers and shakers trolling around here. We have a voice, and it is heard.

We have power to change things, this isn't just an idle chat forum.

Then can you point me to where you posted the same comment to someone who said they would never vote for Romney? I'm just making sure you are an equal opportunity chastiser. :)

I’m not so sure. Romney’s Achilles Heel is Romneycare. The Tea Party may be a real force in 2012. If people hate Bam and Obamacare they aren’t going to embrace it’s precursor.

If you really think there is as substantial difference between Romney and Obama then I’d like to hear your explanation, because I just don’t see it.

They both will appoint liberal justices - they both will champion liberal causes (abortion, gay rights, global warming, higher taxes, etc.) - they both will be weak on foreign policy...the list goes on and on.

Seriously, what makes you think Romney would actually do things differently than Obama?

If Romney wins the nomination, he’ll be on his knees begging Palin or Cain or some other conservative to run on the ticket with him. Unlike last time, I will not be supporting any RINO at the top of the ticket, even if the bottom of the ticket is Palin or another real conservative.

Mitt Romney is the deal breaker. Voting for him would be like voting for that commie Obama. No thank you.

You’re right about that.

as a resident of MA I would much rather Romney than Obama, and if that’s who the nominee is that’s who i’ll vote for. it’s not as if I can choose whoever I want. it’s the R nominee vs the D nominee, when I look at it like that it’s a no brainer.

“Never vote for Mitt, didn’t vote for mccain either, I voted for Palin. Without her I would have left the line empty...”

Same here. After watching RINO McCain for years “reaching across the aisle” (to the Republicans!) while doing Ted Kennedy’s dirty work, I vowed never to vote for him. But Palin’s conservatism and Reaganesque charisma appealed to me, so ended up holding my nose and voting.

ok snook, he cut spending eliminated a projected $3 billion deficit without borrowing or raising taxes, tried to stop same sex marriage
and with health care the state legislature ran the show.
:
On April 12, 2006 Governor Mitt Romney signed the health legislation. He vetoed 8 sections of the health care legislation, including the controversial employer assessment.Romney also vetoed provisions providing dental benefits to poor residents on the Medicaid program, and providing health coverage to senior and disabled legal immigrants not eligible for federal Medicaid. The legislature promptly overrode six of the eight gubernatorial section vetoes, on May 4, 2006, and by mid-June 2006 had overridden the remaining two

in MA dem house members outnumber R’s 144 to 16 80% and in the state senate the dems outnumber R’s 35 to 5 90% and he still got things done.

Romney wouldn’t be my 1st choice but if the choice comes down to Obama or Romney, you’d rather 4 more years of Obama?

No, YOU knock it off.

Seriously, many here (possibly yourself included) state they will stay home instead of voting for Romney, if it comes to that in the general election. You’ve seen what damange 0bama has caused in just two years; what do you think he could do in eight? Romney might be bad, but he won’t go around the world apologizing for our country, alienating our allies and spending our nation into oblivion. The guy is not my first, second or third choice, but he’s certainly better than 0bama. And if it comes to that, he’s the guy I may have to vote for.
