I SWEAR the left is clueless on any history they don't read in a nursery rhyme.
I disagree. The only way what you said could be correct would be if Bush had never won a Presidential election OR if he were a one termer.
Bush was President for 8 years, not 4.
Bush's problem (for republicans) was trying to get along with democrats instead of fighting for our agenda. Bush's problem was that he was NOT a conservative.
I think what you people don’t understand is that the Palin haters are buzzing around out there like flies hoping to plant their little insect legs into some doo-doo.
With this Paul Revere thing however, all they can do is try to cover the fact that Palin knows more history than they do (there’s nothing “somewhat roundabout” in Palin’s simple, factual statement).
And the only evidence for a “cult” around here is the humblegunner bedwetting fan club, who come running to dry his tears whenever normal posters call him out on his worthless, henpecking, crybaby posts.
Bush did not lose to Obama. He was President for 2 terms. He could not run again.
It was McCain who had lost, not Bush.
"We people" are fully aware of that. "We people" are not the ones engaging in that.
"We people" just wish that "you people" would stop lobbing grenades at posters and accusing them of being "Palin-haters" just because "we people" speak in tones injected with more reality than worship.
And if you haven't seen cult-of-personality behavior around here (and not just for Palin), then you aren't paying attention.
Duh. But it was Bush’s unpopularity, trickling down to the house and senate pubs that ensured that democrats would take the prez, house, and senate.
Well, were you paying attention when you said Palin got it right in a “somewhat roundabout way?”
Or maybe you were only paying attention in a somewhat roundabout way, not getting the fact that Palin knew what she was talking about.
Unless you’re one of the flies.
LLS
That’s fine for you to say, but none of it refutes Palin’s comment.
Could it be Palin did this on purpose, to expose her enemies’ foolishness once again? If so, you’re one of those fooled.
Let me help. All you people (along with the mainstream media and the liberals) have to do is abandon your first premise, in its entirety, because that’s where you keep losing.
(Your first premise is that Palin must be stupid and you must be a genius).
You're yipping at someone who actually agrees with you, just not in the same worshipful manner. Save your vitriol for the left.
Unless youre one of the flies.
You'd be hard-pressed to find any negative comments I have ever made about Sarah Palin.
But, if that's what you choose to think then that's your prerogative.
I really couldn't care less what you think of me.
Agreed.
When you have to insert your own thoughts onto others who never expressed any such notion in order to make whatever point it is you're attempting, you have achieved epic fail.
Nurdly - I think you are on to something. Palin knows the media is watching her and waiting for that “gotcha moment”. I was talking to my sister-in-law when my I heard my brother in the background laughing about how Palin is “rewriting” history. I’m sure he was very surprised as where others that their “gotcha” moment turned out to be a bust. When the media gets burned a number of times, they will do a fact check before jumping on the Palin Train of Destruction. So yes, I think she is playing with them and I’m loving it.
Nor will your constant PDS disparaging of her help you.
I once read that only fools judge another’s intelligence from the limitation of their own.
Not to worry. I apologize if my words were too personal.
But how do you explain “Palin got it right in a somewhat roundabout way?”
You're not right.
She mentioned “warning the British” which I’ve seen spun that “well we were really all British at that point” to “well, he warned the British after his capture” and it was all about shooting and guns, which isn’t entirely accurate as there was more to it than the right to bear arms. So yes the facts were there in a roundabout way.
But more importantly, she sounded like Zero with all the “ums” and “ands”. Bad, bad run on sentence. As one who actually saw the video it was extremely cringe-worthy.
She could have easily said she’s having a wonderful time and highly recommends everyone visit these historical places or at least bones up on our nation’s history without throwing out that garbled communique.
And I get how the LSM gives Zero a pass on all his gaffes but we are not talking about Zero here.
I like Palin well enough but the contortions of her rabid supporters are disheartening. Why not admit she got it sorta right but was caught off guard. I get the need to defend her against the rabid haters in the LSM and the left. But it’s okay, to err is human.
Actually, it appears she got it right, not sorta[sic] right. Why not come out and say that?
Liberals NEVER admit when they’re wrong... especially to a conservative. And on top of that, never to Sarah Palin...
