...Before the screening, Bannon mentioned that I and other political reporters were about to watch the “X-rated version,” as opposed to a “XXX-rated version” that he envisions being released on DVD someday.Within the first four minutes, the reason for that cryptic remark was clear, and the X rating is well deserved:
The worst sneers, insults, and furious denunciations from Palin’s enemies are presented in their original language, sans any bleeps.What’s remarkable is that the acidic comments from comedians such as David Letterman, Joan Rivers, Rosie O’Donnell, and Tracey Morgan aren’t really jokes. There’s no punch line per se; calling Palin “slutty” or a “whore,” or offering some other (usually sexual) insult, apparently is supposed to be the punch line.(A version in theaters is likely to bleep out the worst ones.)
The F word and the C word make multiple appearances.

This appears to be why Bannon picked the title The Undefeated, already being mocked by the familiar chorus.One of the last comments from Breitbart is, "Thank God Sarah Palin refused to accept the premise of her own destruction."

When the state legislature dumped an eleventh-hour budget on her desk in June 2007, Palin stayed up all night and got to work with her line-item vetoes, the film depicts. The movie shows how her tenacity apparently astonished the mainstream media in Alaska.
Several television anchors note in the film that they couldn’t believe that she actually followed through on her promise.
"One of my objectives was to drive the stake in the heart of the ‘Caribou Barbie’ meme," Bannon told The Daily Caller."She is no Caribou Barbie."

She didn't even do that. Bannon bought the rights to the audiobook from HarperCollins. Straight-up business deal.
When Bannon set out on this project, he asked for one thing from Palin and one thing only....introductions to the Alaska players that would be featured in the film. He needed Palin to vouch for him. That's all he asked for.

In a telling sign of how the film's message has already resonated with her own thought process, Palin made reference to the Paine quotation during an appearance on Greta Van Susteren's Fox News show last week shortly after she viewed a rough cut of the film for the first time.
"It's like Thomas Paine said, Greta, one of our founders. He said, "If there be trouble, let it be in my day that my child may have peace,'" Palin said. "I think of that when I consider whether running for office or not."
(That statement coming after the vile and despicable attacks she endured during the 2008 presidential run proves that her warrior's heart and resolve, like the best of swords, enduring heavy hammering and the heat of the forge, emerge harder and sharper, the most formidable of weapons.)
