Let me give you some advice.

I have spent entire nights defending positions 100% wrong (factually, not politically).

When you are 100% incorrect on 100% established facts, the hot ticket is to apologize to everyone who has schooled ya, ask for forgiveness and pray you don’t get banned anyway.

It hurts but it also freeing.

I read the entire article. Something in the article was very revealing in my opinion.

Infuriated Republicans? Yeah, our so called Republican Party wants to shove Romney down our throats. The way Sarah is being treated by her own party is despicable.

Not embarrassing, from a different perspective. It was a warning to the British. Revere (and the other riders who are largely ignored by history) were activating the minutemen who were not coming to play tic tac-toe with the British. Certainly sounds like a warning to me.

So which is it? You disagree with history? Or her delivery? It may have been garbled but she WAS right.

Only garbled to someone who immediately thought upon reading her comments, hey, she's wrong because Revere went out to warn the Americans that the British were coming, when, in reality, Revere went out to warn the colonists that the Regulars were coming and then warned the Regulars who had taken him prisoner that their butts were in a serious sling because of what the colonists had in store for them. After all, Palin did NOT say, "Revere warned the British that the British were on the way."

And isn't this just the continuation of her "Let's party like it's 1773" message? Only this time she's telling the "British" (those of our nation who are the oppressors) that they're going up against the tea party folk who whipped their butts in 1773 (and 2010) and who would do it again in 1776 and 2012?

You might want to check your facts. Sarah was exactly correct. A letter written by Paul Revere confirms that the English had a gun to his head and he warned them about the forces ready to confront them. I’ll bet you hate it when Sarah is right.
