San Francisco's anti-circumcision measure will be decided by voters in November, but the literature for the movement aims to sway them with some disturbing images -- including dark, evil-looking rabbis and a blonde superhero saving babies from their clutches.
The measure, supported by self-described "intactivists," would make circumcision performed on anyone under 18 a misdemeanor, even if it is done for religious purposes.
It would be punishable by a $1000 fine, or up to a year in jail.
But that's not the half of it: check out the eye-opening "Foreskin Man,'' the comic book for this anti-circumcision movement that uses images critics are calling blatantly anti-Semitic.
It was reported this week by Chronicle comrade and op-ed columnist Debra J. Saunders.

Anti-semitism and intolerance are San Francisco values!
Foreskin man looks transgendered...
But seriously...cutting a little bit off the top works when San Francisco collects taxes. Why not when it comes to this?
I mean, really. Considering that our Senatorial delegation (a.k.a. “The Pair of Boobs”) is not only from the Bay Area but Jewish...what in the name of you-know-Who were they thinking?
Perhaps a good caption: Screwball armed with an 8-ball?
Quote of the day! ROFLOL.
First Amendment Establishment Clause, Free Exercise Clause; freedom of speech, of the press, and of assembly; right to petition
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Does San Franscisco also think they can suspend free speech, illegal search and seizure, the freedom to assemble? Seems to me that some lawyers and judges are in serious need of 'disbarment'.
Right out of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. Not surprised from the left coast hippies.
The people of San Francisco are beyond parody. I wonder why circumcision has them so upset? If it wasn’t for the ugly caricature of Jews, this whole thing would be really funny.
Hmmm. Where have I heard that before?
someone should get nancy on video responding to a question whether or not she condemns this measure and obvious antisemitic artwork
and since boxer and feinstein both have offices in san fran... both should also be on video responding to the same question (feinstein’s response would be especially interesting)
if either begs that they are unfamiliar with the issue, ask them how it would be possible that a lowly reporter, or simple citizen, is more informed then a US congressman (rhetorical... i know... but would be great to see them squirm)
Our baby had to spend two weeks in the ICN which was right next to the room in which the docs did the circumcisions. Most of the babies slept right through it, including my own.
A “Foreskin Man” comic book? Speaks volumes about the intellectual level of the people supporting the bill. I didn’t know sub-adolescents could vote in San Francisco. Remember, these are the intelligent, “reality-based” people.
Foreskin Man looks Aryan to me.
There is, of course, a serious, disturbing side to this. Leading the pack are two 21-year-olds, Jason Siegel and Zachary Levi Balakoff, who are on Day 3 of a hunger strike. They say they wont eat until genital mutilation is exposed. Go ahead, ask them why. Theyll tell you, for many minutes, about the entire realms of exquisite feeling they are missing by not having foreskins and the corresponding nerves. The giant monstrosity of circumcision envelops their entire lives.
