While former Alaska governor Sarah Palin has been traveling the county on her recent East Coast bus tour, she made an appearance in New York City. Naturally, the media wanted to largely focus on her meeting at a local pizza place with Donald Trump.
However, the real news has apparently been missed by everyone in the media.

Ping!
That's what mashed 'taters are for. Works with corn, too.
Eating folded pizza - that’s just wrong! (IMHO:-) )
Ya fork it or ya fold it! Next!
May as well be a calzone.
She's been wearing that on and off for a while now.
>>I believe she had the Israeli flag in her office when governor.<<
I viewed Sarah as a politician when she was Governor. I would expect that every knowledgeable Governor in America would have ‘mementos’ signifying they support their contributors. If just one Jew made a significant contribution to her election, that would ‘buy’ a spot in her office for the Israeli flag.
Now, if she has a memento of Israel in her home then that would signify to me that she has a true love for Israel. Wearing the Star of David when she met with Trump is her way of saying thank you to her Jewish supporters, IMO.
I couldn’t care less how people eat their pizza. I’ve never seen such idiocy over one stupid subject in my adult life as I have over how Sarah eats her pizza. Today’s world of personal character assassination has reached the saturation point.

My man, bravo!!! Go on long island where there is a pizza store, a Jewish deli, a German Deli and, a Chinese restaurant on every corner. Yummy, back to pizza!!! Every New Yorker knows to use a knife and fork on piping hot pizza right out of the oven. I guess Jon Stewart is just an elite New Yorker, because he knows not of what he utters about pizza!!! He is certainly not of the New York “Streets”!!!

And a beauty parlor, and a video store and a laundry mat or dry cleaner. If you are lucky, you also get a bakery and a pharmacy.
Years, even. But that doesn't lessen its meaning.

I view this as a disgusting insult to Sarah Palin and to my people, politically naive as they are.

I wonder what happened to their If it feels good, do it. attitude?

As a "politician", Sarah could have had a Palestinian flag in her office instead, probably leading to bigger contributions since America's Jews tend for some incomprehensible reason to support only Democrats. Her office, her words, and her actions all hold together. She believes that the Jews are God's chosen people and that it is phenomenally stupid to oppose Israel. She believes that the terrorists who launch mortars and rockets at Israeli civilians on a daily basis are evil, and that supporting them is supporting evil. This is not like having a photo with a union boss on her wall; her life is filled with confirmations that her personal beliefs match her public persona. Even though there are a small number of issues on which I disagree with Gov. Palin, I find it reassuring that she is genuine about everything, both the areas on which we agree and our disagreements.
Do you think she is insincere about her claimed pro-life beliefs? About the Second Amendment? About her support for the military? About responsible government spending? About opposing corruption from both parties? About any significant issue? In all of these areas, we have specific, clear evidence that she means what she says, which is why the ruling elite from both parties hates her.
“If just one Jew made a significant contribution to her election, that would buy a spot in her office for the Israeli flag.”
Very insulting to Sarah and the rest of us Christians who proudly support Israel. You’re basically calling her a whore. Very nice.
Now as far as insulting Sarah, you and “your people” whomever they might be, ml/nj, you need to realize this woman is a politician and she is going to make executive decisions according to the political climate. What is possible to accomplish and what is not in her political world depends on how many seats are supporting her, how many RINO’s there are and how many oppose her. She is not going to do anything to offend her supporters and she will do whatever she can to curry favor. If that includes putting an Israeli flag in her office to gain your support and that of “your people”, she will do so.
If saying this offends you, I’m sorry because I am as emotional as a fence post about this subject. I don’t try to curry favor with anyone except my wife. You don’t need my approval to post your opinions and I don’t feel I need yours. You can accept my opinion as it is or you can attempt to swing me over to your line of thinking.
First let me get this off my chest. I am not enamored with Sarah Palin. The same way I wasn’t enamored with George Bush or his wife. The Bush’s are an attractive and well mannered couple the same way the Palins are. They have polite children. Their family history is out in the open for all to see. So, from my middle class standards they are a suitable family to occupy the White House....until I get to examining the main issues which is are they the correct family to protect United States and preserve our Constitution? Will they steer enforcement of federal immigration laws in the direction that I want them to go or will they offer an amnesty plan to lawbreakers. The reason I use the word “family” is because I have been married for 35 years and I know that my wife’s opinion is an important factor when I make a decision the same way Laura’s “compassion towards Latinos” opinion was certainly a strong factor in why George was reluctant to close the borders. The primary question concerns overall qualifications. Is she the best of the best for America and the millions of unemployed people?
Now, I have voted for a lot of politicians in my life and not a single one has come through as they initially promised. So no, I don’t fully trust her or anyone else running for office. Life’s experiences have taught me not to trust them unless I wish to be disappointed.

Sorry but IMO all politicians must be money hungry whores to be effective. They spend more time trying to raise funds to be re-elected than they do making decisions on which way to vote. That is NOT a personal slur against her or any of the others personally. It is how our election system works. If you don’t have millions to buy advertising for the office then you will not be elected.
