I know I’m going to garner a lot of bitter reactions, but I just have to question this devotion to Sarah Palin as our candidate for 2012. Am I the only one that thinks conservatives are falling into the whole cult of personality with regard to Sarah Palin much the same way the Left did with Obama? I’m not comfortable with her just bailing on Alaska, she’s the one that allowed Levi Johnston to knock up her daughter, and I don’t want a reality TV. candidate - I want a serious conservative thinker with the stomach for policy. I’d much rather have Michele Bachmann or Herman Cain. Anyhow, that’s just my opinion. Let the hate begin..

Wow, I can appreciate how one might not be convinced she's the best candidate but that statement was just dumb.
I may not be Palin's biggest fan, but that sounds just plain Looney-Tunes if you ask me. The other reasons aren't substantive either. In fact, they're goofy too.

I guess that's where she captures a big chunk of my heart. They threw the worst at her...the worst short of outright physical assault and she got up and kept going, and now she's running over them with her bright, shiny bus. They kept after her, kept lobbing grenades, hoping she'd retreat, and she won't give up.
Frankly, I wish Allen West was running, but he's just out of the gate politically. Did you see that photo where he and Sarah are shaking hands? Find it. Two big roaring fires, shaking hands.
She's no goddess. I wish to heck she'd get a voice coach, because she has that flaw that many women (me, too) have...a squeaky voice. Only work with a voice coach can help with that.

After seeing just the mistakes Bachmann has made so far, she is one that I hope does not try to run. She’s dropped so many big ones that they will be able to Quayle her too easily.

2 3/4 years is more than the time that Romney devoted himself to his one experience in public office. By halfway through his turn he was traveling nationwide in pursuit of the presidency pretty much full time and he’d left MA entirely in the hands of the Democrat state legislature.
Oh, yeah. And the “Palin cult” thing, too. More drama-queening. I like her, she’s my first choice among several others, but I’m not offing myself, or doing any other cult-like act, for her. Now or ever. That’s not happening. Drop it and show me how your candidate is better and deserves victory more. If you don’t have a candidate, just drop it.

Myself, I’d rather be devoted to helping elect Sarah Palin in 2012 than be forced to hold my nose and vote for any GOP selected professional politician.
