Huckabee Not Closing Door On White House Run (Second Thoughts?)

(Little Rock, AR) -- Mike Huckabee isn't ruling out a run as a Republican candidate for President next year.
The former Arkansas governor earlier announced on his program airing on Fox that he had decided against mounting another campaign for the White House.
However, in remarks at the Clinton School of Public Service, Huckabee said "everything is still open."
He added, quote, "I haven't closed doors." He also had a forecast about how the GOP primary in 2012 will pan out.
Huckabee said the eventual nominee will come out of a "bloody primary broke and battered." He predicted Republicans will "have a demolition derby, a circular firing squad and load up with bullets and start shooting."

Hey, I wonder if Mike knows what day of the week it is?
I could have sworn he said, on his own TV show, that he would not run for president.
What’s changed his mind?

Huckabee said the eventual nominee will come out of a "bloody primary broke and battered." He predicted Republicans will "have a demolition derby, a circular firing squad and load up with bullets and start shooting."If that's how he thinks it's going to be, why would he want to jump back in?
To: wk4bush2004
Second thought? That would imply he had a first thought.
Something I'm not quite convinced of yet.

relax. this was directed at Romney. It’s not directed at any of the other candidates. He will not get in a race where the other candidates (Palin, Bachmann, Cain) emerge.
For that matter, relax on the Donald as well. If he wants to run as an “Independent”, he’s not going to get any voters that would be voting for the conservative candidate anyway. In fact, it means our candidate wouldn’t have to fight for that vote since Trump would be taking the majority of his votes from Obama voters or Moderate RINOs.
