GOP megastar Sarah Palin turned the Freedom Trail into a street party this morning as she toured Bostons historic sites with her family in her latest stop in a headline-grabbing East Coast trip.
She first stopped by the Old North Church and gift shop where she posed for photos and handed out copies of the Constitution to kids.
The throng of supporters then followed her to Paul Reveres House where a worker at the gift shop gave Palin a T-shirt with the famous saying, Dont Tread on Me"

"She will certainly be in New Hampshire to rain on Mitts parade, wrote Massachusetts GOP spokesman Tim Buckley in an e-mail obtained by the Herald. Bay State GOP officials confirmed yesterday that Buckley wrote the e-mail, but said it was a private exchange and not an official communication.
I guess she blew in with the storm, sniffed state House minority leader Bradley H. Jones (R-North Reading) yesterday, a longtime Romney supporter. She may generate a lot of attention, but given the choice between seeing Sarah Palin and Mitt Romney, Id much rather see Romney.
BUS
This morning I noticed that every story about Palin has been purged from Drudge. What’s up with that?
Boy, that would make a nice Campaign Bus?
Pray for America
That's what I saw when I read it the first time.
What’s with the shirt with the logo from “The Learning Channel”, “TLC”??????
Is this bus tour somehow part of reality show business?
I saw “street party”, and my first thought was about the “flash mob” stories, and what this would have degenerated into if this were an 0bama supporter rally.
Yeah, I sent Drudge tips yesterday about the tweets predicting Sarah in NH today, and there was no interest.
e plebnista ping!
Her numbers will be kicking the crap out of Wrongney’s by month’s end.
No.....a PAC cant be tied up to a commercial business as in TLC - most likely Sarah was probably given a bunch t-shirts from TLC when she doing the show
Now, there's a plan.
She could go to schools to read passages from the document tot he kids. Some heads of school administrators would explode.
I wonder of the GOP elites have gotten to Drudge in an attempt to minimize her impact? I wouldn’t put it past them. (And I’ll remember this when they come begging for money)
Will the Establishment candidate have such enthusiasm, or will his enthusiasm be choreographed and of the “AstroTurf” variety?
That would make a nice campaign bus indeed.
“On the jaunt, the former Alaska governor has played coy with reporters, who have been reduced to tracking her movements via Web and street rumor in a media scavenger hunt.”
Good Lord, they make it sound like a giant where’s waldo game. The woman takes a family vacation and the media goes nuts, the establishment repubs sniff dismissively, and everyone gets their panties in a knot because she failed to “notify local Republican officials of her itinerary in any of her East Coast stops.” This is fun to watch!
I kinda like it.
She needs to give some “mini-seminars” on what the Constitution IS, as well as handing out the documents.
Kids, our country is based on this Constitution. Remember, the Constitution’s purpose was to establish a government that was very strictly limited so that you would retain your freedom.
