WASHINGTON, DC- Congressman Jeff Landry (R, LA-03) released the following statement after he declined the President's invitation to the White House this morning: "I have respectfully declined the President's invitation to the White House today. I don't intend to spend my morning being lectured to by a President whose failed policies have put our children and grandchildren in a huge burden of debt. Over the past two years, President Obama and congressional Democrats have overseen the largest budget deficits in U.S. history. On top of that, the President's budget adds $1.3 trillion to our national debt every year for the next ten years - a budget that failed to muster a single vote in the Senate. Until the President produces a responsible deficit reduction plan, I'm not going to the White House to negotiate with myself. Our conference has put out for months where we would start the process. The President has done nothing, just like he has for the people of the Gulf Coast. For months, the Louisiana delegation has sent the President numerous requests to meet with him or his chief of staff concerning the de facto moratorium issued in the Gulf of Mexico, a de facto moratorium that has driven gas prices up and now threatens to derail economic recovery; the President hasn't even had the courtesy to write us a note back. I refuse to partake in his political grandstanding that will ultimately do nothing for debt reduction and job creation."
That’s how to write a response. KMA you grandstanding no good POS... and grow up while you’re at it. Love it. Made my day. Thanks for posting.

Excellent. Absolutely spot on. Kudos sir! I would make one minor correction though...the savaging of our Nation started in 2006.
OUTSTANDING response by Rep Jeff Landry. I wish that the entire Repub caucus would have sent the same response to the RAT bastard 0dumbo commie pig-in-chief. I especially loved his statement that he does not intend to spend the entire time being lectured to by 0dumbo! GREAT statement!
Just called his office, and left a HEART FELT THANK YOU...

We need more like this guy!
Bump.
Let’s make sure we all remember him when he asks for contributions for reelection in 2012. I have him on my reminder list.
Get on the phones people and give this congress critter his props!!!
I just spoke with a legislative aide and gave the congressman many well deserved kudos for his spot on reply to our sitting president. BRAVO! BULLY! HELL YA!
FYI: The aide answering the telephone admitted to working previously (in DC) for my congress critter from the 18th congressional district of Il; Aaron Shock.
By the way, the aide was familiar with FR and the Dead Pelican.
Yay, Jeff Landry! Stand up to the marxist puppet.
Right behind you- called and conveyed my sentiments to Congressman Landry.
Thanks for the phone number.
We need to get us Facebook numbers. I looked him up on face book, and he has 14 “Likes”. Lets get those numbers up.
