Add supermodel Kathy Ireland to the list of people wanting Congress to de-fund the Planned Parenthood abortion business by cutting the millions of dollars it receives to promote its agenda.
“I think Planned Parenthood needs to reassess and look at what their values are, what their mission is, what their goals are, and do they deserve government funding? For example, there are non-profits that I’m involved with, and we don’t get government funding,” Ireland told FOX411’s Pop Tarts program. “We go out there, and if you really believe in this strongly enough to fight it for it, go get the funding.
“To force people who don’t agree with some of the practices, I don’t believe in that. I don’t think tax payers need to fund something as controversial as [Planned Parenthood],’ she added. . .

Why even that, because it can be had at virtually any pharmacy, and those whose druggists feel conscience bound not to do that are so few that it seldom poses a difficulty to find one unless one is looking for something to litigate over.
Sorry, I can't agree; and here's why.
Let's say that you and I do not agree with Abortion, we find it morally offensive - equal to 'convenience murder'. Is is fair for us to have a 'gun put to our head' and our tax money fund this? No, I think I am safe in saying that forcing us (under threat of penalty of law) to fund something we are opposed to, is a violation of our rights. Am I correct?
Now, let's look at the Catholic point of view, where Birth Control is offensive. Is it fair for us to allow the legal 'gun to the head' and force Catholics to fund something they find offensive? I think not.
Planned Parenthood can pass out all the medical information they want; I am opposed to them passing out ANYTHING other than information. No one is 'entitled' to free condoms, birth control pills, abortions, ect. That is not a necessity of life, but one of lifestyle.
A person we know just had her 13 year old daughter spin into a full tilt rebellion that is tearing the family up. After finding out the girl was sexually promiscuous she learned that it began with her liberally taught sex ed. class that was amplified when the teacher arranged for her to get birth control pills without contacting the parents.
I don’t disagree. It’s just that when did Planned Parenthood go into the baby killing business? I remember one of the people I used to babysit for being really involved (this was of course 40 years ago) with PP and it was right after birth control became readily available and people would actually plan out the births of their children. Yes I am adamantly opposed to killing babies.
teacher needs to be reported. That disgusts me. A 13 year old is not even of age to consent.

If Planned Parenthood wants to pass out birth control pills, it is entirely their right to do so.
I, however, have a problem with funding them with taxpayer dollars.
We all may not like the idea of PP handing out birth control pills - but if they’re doing it with their own money, and not ours, that’s their business.
No argument on either score, but I don't think she's a political expert and neither are 99.9% of anyone else in Hollywood, yet we cultivate their political opinions and, for the life of me, I don't understand why.
