I wonder if the Governor is offended by the word “Hell.” Because my initial response to abolishing energy subsidies was, “Oh, Hell yes.” Then wipe away the EPA.

Government, sit down and shut up. Private industry, drill here; drill now. Build refineries. Exploit oil shale. Build nuclear plants.

I was wondering how she was going to answer the ethanol question. I figured this would be her answer, and I’m glad to hear it! If a technology is going to find favor with the public, it will do so, regardless of subsidies.

I keep hearing that oil companies are recording record profits. Let them run like any other business and don’t use our tax money to subsidize their profits.

I hope she heads back east in PA. Maybe a stop at Ft. Necessity and the Bushy Run Battlefield. During these stops it would nice for her to visit some of the Marcella drilling locations. Talk to the producers and find out the issues with FERC and the environmental lobby. They don't receive subsidies, but they need the government off of their backs. This would garner her a view of energy production problems here in the lower 48.

Of course I would like to drive out and see the family. ;-)
