She’s not running. </sarcasm>
YES! If I didn’t already have a gorgeous brunette for a wife, I would love this woman!
Colonel, USAFR

Got the full quotes!
Combine no subsidies with equal taxation.
For example, in Alaska, only oil & gas properties pay state property tax. Nearly all pay local property taxes, but only one industry pays to the state.

I like it! Saying what few will. She’s actually a conservative. I wonder if she’s running for office? ~sarc
Ahh just posted this...sorry Mike, good job!
It's about 1 1/2 hour drive from Pittsburgh.
Dang! If I knew she was going to be there, I'd have gone.
You notice, while fair reporters like Scott are gleaning scoop after scoop, Palin had the good sense not to invite any of her detractors at National Review to come and snark at her?

You go, Sarah!
btw, looks like that boy in the black Vets4Sarah tee is packin’. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2011/05/31/palin_eliminate_all_energy_subsidies.html
now, on Saturday night at 11:47PM Eastern, if Tina Fey goes on the air and announces “I can see ethanol plants from my house!”, will any of the sheeple know that Sarah ever said this?
Mitt Romney,..... said last week in Iowa that he supports ethanol subsidies.
But Palin differs, saying,..
“We’ve got to allow the free market to dictate what’s most efficient and economical for our nation’s economy. No, at this time, our country can’t afford the subsidies. Before, though, we even start arguing about some of these domestic subsidies that need to be eliminated — should be — we need to look at ending subsidies and loans to foreign countries and their energy production that we’re relying on, like Brazil.”
Love that she mentioned ‘Brazil’...another Bo slap to the jaw. And she is right on about ending loans to other countries. Stopping the borrowing of money from other foreign countries to loan to other foreign countries is insanity!
Agree. ALL subsidies, not just biofuels.
and allowing our businesses to invest in reliable energy products right now ——————
All I wanted for a candidate was for him/her to have fearless guts to speak and explain conservative principles. I despise the mealy, chicken, candidates who bow to moderates and media.
She’s it for me right now! Stay strong, Sarah!
Looking at her track record in Alaska, it's clear that Sarah means what she says and that she can usually deliver. This woman is not a politician who plays games with the voters, and that's why so many people who work for a living love her and so many parasites hate her. I believe that she would put an end to all or almost all energy subsidies. There is a gray area in terms of federally funded research, and I don't think this promise automatically applies there, but otherwise I am convinced that she is sincere and would feel bound by her promise.
How do we define “subsidies”?
As I see it, both the GOP and the Dems include “tax breaks” as subsidies.
