If Palin is not intending to run for the Republican nomination, then she is simply being selfish. Her grandstanding makes it nearly impossible for fringe candidates to be heard. For the Republicans to win in 2012, they will need the very best they have to offer. How will voters know that with Palin taking up airspace and then backing out, like she did on her state of Alaska?

The author needs to get a life. Palin can do what she wants. It’s a free country and it’s a year and a half before the next presidential election.

I think she’d be nuts to get in early. And personally, I’d like the fringe candidates to stay away from the republican field. They just divide the conservative vote so many ways that the moderate and liberal candidates end up winning.

O=Just for the record: Mrs. Palin is great — she is true, conservative and has great common sense.
