“Please note the first sentence in the article.”
I did.
Now please re-read what I wrote regarding fetal cells being used IN the product:
“To imply they do is disingenuous at best. Unless one actually believes it in which case one is stupid.”
I stand by that statement.
If the company uses murdered baby body parts to produce flavor enhancers, it stands to reason that the flavor enhancers are used in the product. I never heard of a flavor enhancer being used otherwise.
Now if you are saying that the dead baby body parts are used in the process to produce the flavor enhancers, but not actually in the flavor enhancers. That still is not a good thing to know that aborted fetuses are used in production of food fit for human consumption. That is, dead baby body parts are used to produce flavorful food, but actually are not in the food, but just in the process. That does not sound wholesome to me, but all that stuff is junk food to me anyway. I cannot boycott what I do not eat.

Seen here at 24 weeks - six months from conception, the unborn child is covered with a fine, downy hair called lanugo. His tender skin is protected by a waxy substance called vernix. Some of this substance may still be on the child's skin at birth at which time it will be quickly absorbed. The child practices breathing by inhaling amniotic fluid into developing lungs.
No more Pepsi products for me nor my friends. Spread the word!
Let it be known that we boycott because we are standing up for the precious lives of innocent babies. When they boycott it is only because they think that their own often evil inspired rights have been stepped upon. Our boycotts are moral necessities while theirs are selfish mean spirited demands. Spread the word!

(Sigh)
Though we are both on the same side of the issue, one of us is out of touch with reality.
Have a great day.
Letter of complaint and notice of boycott of Pepsi drink products sent.
Today being the first day in years a Pepsi fountain drink wasn't part of my lunch-time routine; because of a moral gold standard: defending the sanctity of life.
And we'll avoid the entire PepsiCo line of consumer products until all ties with Senomyx are severed.
