This thread is in gratitude for all you veterans who put your lives at risk to fight the forces of darkness working through unwitting dupes all over the world. Colonel Monaco has put together the patriot outreach site and their Be Still exercise is simply a miracle in helping to save the lives of so many soldiers. It has actually been used in civilian version for about 50 years and now it is taking off like wildfire in the military; because it works! And no charge for you all! God bless.

I suffer from PTSD but it's from the war that was waged between my mother and father when I was a little tyke.

I heard there were 100,000 vets committed suicide after Viet Nam. You heard wrong.

No sir, it is not. It is quite biblical actually. “Renewal of the mind from within”...”be still and know that I am God”...

Most meditations can be viewed as similar in one way or another, the difference here is that there is no mantra to repeat and/or no image to focus on, it's all just silent observation,
To: whatisthetruth
Yes, and that is how we become reborn eventually...by being connected to that wordless spirit which has all of our programming from God for our daily lives.

I was never taught a mantra or an image or anything. In fact, I was never advised anything except to seek the truth... on my own head and with my maker, whatever that may be. I will agree with you that silent observation is the key.
