Yes, and that is how we become reborn eventually...by being connected to that wordless spirit which has all of our programming from God for our daily lives.

I was never taught a mantra or an image or anything. In fact, I was never advised anything except to seek the truth... on my own head and with my maker, whatever that may be. I will agree with you that silent observation is the key.
