When President Obama announced his support for the establishment of a Palestinian state along the 1967 lines as the starting point for negotiations, he in effect adopted the PLO Phased Plan for the gradual destruction of Israel.
While Hamas adopted the position of destroying Israel in one step through constant armed struggle, the PLO, led by Fatah adopted in 1974 a new political method of achieving that goal through two steps. According to the plan, the first step is the establishment of a Palestinian state in the 1967 borders; the second step is the liberation of all of Palestine by destroying the Jewish state through armed struggle or through the "the right of return" of millions of Palestinians to Israel, thus demographically and democratically causing Israel to lose its Jewish majority and character.
Prime Minister Netanyahu came to Washington hoping to get Obama's help in derailing the upcoming vote in the UN in September recognizing a Palestinian state. But Obama's decision to publicly confront Israel again, with only few hours warning on the eve of Netanyahu's visit, further weakens and isolates Israel internationally, which in turn will help fast forward the vote at the UN General Assembly.

That's two of us now, the USA and Israel.
Neither does Berlusconi
ROME Italian Premier Silvio Berlusconi has taken his claim that he is being persecuted by leftist judges to the G-8 summit, telling a clearly perplexed President Barack Obama that in Italy they represent “almost a dictatorship.”
His comments carried on Italian TV news broadcasts from the summit in Deauville, France, set off a barrage of criticism Friday from Italian magistrates and his political opponents.
Italians are used to such statements from Berlusconi, but Obama seemed surprised when Berlusconi approached him and said through an interpreter that his government has proposed a judicial reform because “we have almost a dictatorship of leftist judges.”
Hell ... American can't trust obama!
obama's own family can't trust obama.
Look up Aesop's fable of the frog and the scorpion.
Well, in 2008 78% of Jewish voters said "screw Israel we don't care."
can’t trust the mmmm mmmm mmmmuslim?
When [Zero] announced his support for the establishment of a [terrorist Arab squatter] state along the 1967 lines as the starting point for negotiations, he in effect adopted the PLO Phased Plan for the gradual destruction of Israel. And the Hamas/PA alliance rejected what Zero offered, to boot!
They have ushered in the destruction of Israel. Guess they got what they wanted. Their utter self-loathing of Israel and the USA never ceases to amaze me.
Yes, it goes without saying that we will be voting Republican against Obama next year, but not all of the Republican presidential wannabees are exactly the same on their attitudes toward the Israel-Palestinian conflict.
Neither can America.
I have been in Europe the past 3 weeks so what I have seen and heard of this is all from CNNinternational and what I could read when I had time.
The more I think about it, I have come to realize what about Obama’s speech bugs me the most. It is that he ‘gave’ something to the Palestinians and took from the Israelis, without taking anything from the Pals. To have been more balanced he could have added something about resettling Arab refugees outside of Israel. That would have helped push the two parties together.
Instead, he took from Israel, twice. First he took the settlement issue (last year) and by insisting that Israel stop building, for the first time the Pals took the issue as a precondition. It had never been a precondition before, for 20 years since Oslo, but then Obama made it one. He is more Palestinian than the Palestinians! Now he took from Israel a bargaining chip on the territory. He took nothing of any substance from the Pals other than complain about their deal with Hamas, which means nothing to them and only encourages them to take their case to the UN.
That shouldn't shock anyone who knew about his background growing up in Muslim Indonesia, and later in Chicago hanging out with the likes of Rashid Khalidi and making alliances with Chicago's Arabs as a community organizer and state senator.
A good book about his Arabist sympathies and much more is Radical in Chief by Stanley Kurtz.
(1) Lived four years in Muslim Indonesia as a boy with a Muslim stepfather.
(2) Attended a Muslim school for two of those years.
(3) Had Muslim roommates in college.
(4) Visited Muslim countries while in college, then Muslim relatives in Kenya.
(5) Law school admission at Harvard pushed by wealthy Muslim donor.
(5) Close personal relationships with the likes of Edward Said and Rashid Khalidi.
(6) Listened to Rev. Wright's anti-Israel pro-Pali sermons for 20 years.
(7) Etc., etc.
I would shorten your list and say Obama hates Israel because he IS a muslim.
Don’t leave out Ayers & Dorn, known haters of Israel & sponsors of Palestinian terrorists.
All quite natural. Then there’s power politics. There are more Arabs and Muslims than Jews in the world, and more Arab and Muslim countries belong to OPEC than Jewish countries, and Jews are relatively powerless, so you can do anything you want to them, and say anything you want about them, so long as you don’t upset the people who matter who like them, such as Christians, rich Jews of the non-self-hating variety, Hollywood types who don’t follow intellectual fashion and hate Israel or secretly hate Jews for various reasons to do with Hollywood culture, and people of good will and basic decency. On the other hand, you can’t leave them alone either. The Crocodiles might eat you second to last instead of last, if you don’t feed somebody to them, so why not hate Israel. Crocodiles just can’t get enough of us.
Nice graphic, but there is nothing faster than the speed of stupid.
