It’s like boiling a frog. She keeps showing up for events, making pronouncements, raising money. One day she’ll show up for a debate and next thing you know, she’s standing on the Capitol steps in a fur-lined coat with her left hand in the air :-)

LOL! When I read that, I had a picture in my mind's eye of her being sworn in wearing a spectacular Eskimo fur parka.
