The ratio of those indicating they want me to continue pointing out that Barry isn’t a Natural Born Citizen is 36:6.

I just read the latest in her tour over at Politico (need a shower). They cannot help themselves and write a clean paragraph without throwing in the usual snide remarks. Honestly are there any reporters left, the ones that just report, withut the innuendo, subtle and not so subtle sniping?

“nothingurger”. Good one :-)

These are books even free libraries won’t want. They’ll put them back in the boxes next to Nancy Pelosi’s book. Does the NYT have a worstseller list?

...on the basis of Geoffrey Dunn's and Frank Bailey's accompanying Palin-bombs, what they've come up with so far doesn't seem to be effectively distinguishing the grassroots energy Sarah Palin has uniquely created and maintained.

Not "distinguishing,"---try 'extinguishing.'

Other than that, Fisher wrote a good piece about Palin, IMHO.

She continues to do things her way, unconventionally, which is what she sets out to prove with the release of The Undefeated.

If she does decide to run for President, I hope one of the unconventional things she does is to not appear on any of the Sunday talking head shows except, perhaps, Chris Wallace's.

She must know by now the other shows have no desire in asking her serious questions.

Even Chris Wallace has a tiny streak of "gotcha-itis" in him but it's only a symptom of his lineage, not a full-on disease like the others have.

It would be awesome if she ran her entire campaign on talk radio and Fox News.

Hit the “Report Abuse” button and see if anything happens.

I asked Jim several weeks ago for his opinion. He hasn't told me to "knock it off."

In my 11+ years here, Jim's only slapped my hands once and that was 11 years ago.

Being new, I didn't realize how the posting of a link to a "got cha!" joke site would bring out the nuts who believed it to be true. Following it to the "joke" ending, it would have become obvious.

The thread only went two replies before Jim deleted it, and jacked me up by the short hairs. Jim pointed out to me that FR has paranoids, who would be afraid to click on the link, but would accept the Thread title as confirming what they "knew" to be true.

Even so, within minutes, I received numerous Freep mails wanting to know what was being covered up, and how "they" had gotten to me so soon.

I spent the next hour explaining that the black helicopters were not landing in my back yard, and that it was all just a joke.

It’s not abuse. I’m just pointing out that while some people may like it, there are others who don’t really enjoy seeing the exact same thing on thread after thread after thread.

That’s all.

You might not realize it, but that post at the beginning of every Sarah Palin thread is starting to get a bit old for some of us.
Just sayin’.

There are still FReepers pushing candidates who are NOT natural born citizens (i.e. Rubio or Jindal).

We're in this current mess because of the Open Border Traitors of both parties, and voters who believe the Constitution and the Founders are a stale joke.

Here's what I post on those.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Marco Rubio

born May 28, 1971 in Miami, FL (Meets the Jus Soli Requirement)

Parents were
Mario Rubio born in Cuba
Oria Garcia born in Cuba

Unless proof of their naturalization prior to Mary 28, 1971 is produced Marco Rubio must be considered as NOT a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN.

Morco's status is the same as that of Barry Soetoro, aka Barack Hussein Obama.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Piyush Amrit “Bobby” Jindal

born June 10, 1971 in Baton Rouge, LA (Meets the Jus Soli Requirement)

Parents were
Amar Jindal born in India
Raj Jindal born in India

Unless proof of their naturalization prior to June 10, 1971 is produced Bobby Jindal must be considered as NOT a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN.

Bobby's status is the same as that of Barry Soetoro, aka Barack Hussein Obama.

No, there are simply FReepers who disagree with your interpretation of what a natural born citizen is, which is only reasonable given that there's NEVER been a ruling declaring your definition, and there's a fair amount of judicial precedent to believe otherwise.

Yet there are FReepers on here who act as if THEY, and they only, are the SOLE arbiters of the meaning of the Constitution.

Sorry, but there is PLENTY of room for disagreement here. I’ve read the arguments, pretty well on both sides, and Wong Kim Ark especially seems pretty clear to me that the legal and judicial precedent is that it doesn’t take both jus soli and jus sanguinis to make a natural born citizen.
