You might not realize it, but that post at the beginning of every Sarah Palin thread is starting to get a bit old for some of us.
Just sayin’.

There are still FReepers pushing candidates who are NOT natural born citizens (i.e. Rubio or Jindal).

We're in this current mess because of the Open Border Traitors of both parties, and voters who believe the Constitution and the Founders are a stale joke.

Here's what I post on those.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Marco Rubio

born May 28, 1971 in Miami, FL (Meets the Jus Soli Requirement)

Parents were
Mario Rubio born in Cuba
Oria Garcia born in Cuba

Unless proof of their naturalization prior to Mary 28, 1971 is produced Marco Rubio must be considered as NOT a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN.

Morco's status is the same as that of Barry Soetoro, aka Barack Hussein Obama.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Piyush Amrit “Bobby” Jindal

born June 10, 1971 in Baton Rouge, LA (Meets the Jus Soli Requirement)

Parents were
Amar Jindal born in India
Raj Jindal born in India

Unless proof of their naturalization prior to June 10, 1971 is produced Bobby Jindal must be considered as NOT a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN.

Bobby's status is the same as that of Barry Soetoro, aka Barack Hussein Obama.

No, there are simply FReepers who disagree with your interpretation of what a natural born citizen is, which is only reasonable given that there's NEVER been a ruling declaring your definition, and there's a fair amount of judicial precedent to believe otherwise.

Yet there are FReepers on here who act as if THEY, and they only, are the SOLE arbiters of the meaning of the Constitution.

Sorry, but there is PLENTY of room for disagreement here. I’ve read the arguments, pretty well on both sides, and Wong Kim Ark especially seems pretty clear to me that the legal and judicial precedent is that it doesn’t take both jus soli and jus sanguinis to make a natural born citizen.

And no, I’m not interested in arguing the point. I’ve already been involved in enough discussion about the issue, thank you very much.

I am merely pointing out that FReepers have a range of opinion on a variety of issues, including this one. And if our tent isn’t big enough to really include people who believe that Bobby Jindal can be President, or that a child who happened to be born an American citizen abroad can grow up to become President, then we have a pretty darn small tent indeed.
