Exactly. And if inflation wasn’t inevitable, living well within your means might make more sense too.

LOL Well, hubby’s maternal relatives are all from your area, and that’s probably where they learned to eat that yucky stuff. :-) Hubby always eats the lettuce that I pick out of my salads at restaurants when there are brown spots. He always makes fun of me. (city girl)

I’d send my kid to that school with a hunting rifle and a note explaining to the NEA tards it was to allow him a chance to kill something for food during the day.

Children who attend socialist school run by the voting mob collective ( school boards) learn to be comfortable with the socialist collective controlling their lives, the food that goes in their mouths, and even how they die. ( Death Panels anyone?)
Onions?...Just part of the conditioning that will get them ready for their “Brave New World” deaths.

Asparagus used to affect me that way as a child. If somebody was cooking THAT ****, I had to leave the NEIGHBORHOOD, just leaving my own yard wouldn’t cut it.

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself) The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
This has got to be a record for the most number of pings in the shortest possible time.
WHY on earth do people STILL send their kids to public schools?!?!?!?!

Yes, raw onion goes great with unsweetened cornbread and pintos with some ham hock. Never could eat a whole vidalia raw before. Seem it done though. Curse my whiteness, my red neck!

Make a ‘rue’, add sweet milk and stir continuously, salt to taste then grind black pepper onto the thickened gravy.
