Lt. Col. West is a true patriot.
Thank you Allen West!

Fine by me, parts of the Patriot Act need to be repealed for being Unconstitutional to US Citizens.

Thaat he is. There is nothing patriotic , despite what those with a slave mentality say, about the “Patriot Act”.

How much does his vote reflect poorly in Mrs. Bachmann? She may have cost herself some points here.

Agree 100%. I have been against the Patriot Act from the beginning, too much power, too little controls. And as you said, it violates individuals rights and is unconstitutional.

I have to admit, I and my better half are completely in the dark when it comes to the patriot act.
If NO is good enough for Mr West .. It’s good enough for us!
I DO wonder why some dems voted against it though?

I have been against the Patriot Act from the beginning,Good for you. Too many conservatives were for it. Including a foolish young Impy.
Next time some law giving extra powers to the government is passed under a Republican President conservatives need to stop and think about whether they want a Democrat administration to have those same powers. It's a shame that 196 Congressional Republicans still do.

God Bless Allen West. That Patriot Act should never have been passed in the first place. Its unconstitutional.

“This man is nearly perfect!”
I like West, Cain and Palin.
But, let's not be enamored with any candidate. Let us try to remain sober-minded no matter how good the prospects may seem.
No man, save Christ is perfect.
Aside from Christ, no man is nearly perfect.
We are all flawed. If you idolize this man, you put undue pressure on him.
Just let him be what he is....flaws and all.

This was my concern about the Patriot Act from the get-go.
