In my thank you card to Sarah after the 2008 election, I told her she was our modern day Esther. I was so sad she was no longer going to be apart of America’s everyday life.
I quoted the Bible (besides giving her all my info to put into her database for her run in 2012,lol).
I felt empty when it was over and that we no longer had Sarah on a national level. God apparently, as did she, slapped me upside the head.......I should have know such an American treasure and blessing would not go quietly into the night.
Queen Esther is coming. Look busy.
My staff at work says that about ME, LOL!
Go, Sarah! Go! :)

That is interesting. I have said previously that the Governor does remind me of parallels to the book of Esther. I also see Obama as the modern Haman. Funny. May all the PDS heads explode.
Waiting for a FReeper to say she isn’t running in 3...2...1...
Make a liberal’s head explode. Vote Sarah.
Will God turn His back on America in response to our lack of faith . . . will He send us a deliverer who can restore this country’s greatness . . . or will He give us a choice: Sarah or more Obama. My money is on the choice, and I pray daily that we will choose wisely.
The passage in Esther says: “And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?
It is natural verse to cite when thinking of a woman assuming a role in the leadership of a nation.
It has nothing to do with Sarah wanting to go to war with Iran to save the Jews.
Esther is a prominent example in the bible of a woman leader. If Sarah becomes the first female US President, she would of course be compared to Esther and to Debra.
