Many of you have probably seen the first video by now of the 20 people who sought shelter in a Fastrip Store/Gas Station during the Joplin MO Tornado on 5/22/11.
As many of you know one person that was there was recording the whole thing while the EF-5 tornado was bearing down on them. All of them survived.

It is mostly audio as it was too dark inside the building. I must warn those who have not heard it yet, that it is very terrifying and it probably should not be played while children are nearby.
The young man that record it has now went back to the same Fastrip Store/Gas Station an has recorded a new video of what it looks like now and where the 20 people actually took shelter at inside the store.

I think many of us can learn from this as there really has never been a video like the 1st one linked above.
(Note: I do not know the young man who did the recordings. I just know that there is a lot interest in what this young man and 19 other people went through.)

You have to see them in sequence — but when I saw the second one, my jaw hit the ground as is still there!
Any rational person will say “YOU SURVIVED THAT?? In THERE?”
That video is life-changing.

Nothing. It the perfect — well everything.
And despite my shock, I have to admit a little part of me said “well, heck, you could do worse than to be trapped in a beer vault!”
Bless them all — the people and the beers. And thank God for an amazing survival.
Oh... this Fastrip Store/Gas Station is about 4 miles to the east of the hospital that was badly damaged.
