Family of 4 found dead at home

SAN DIEGO -- The bodies of a couple and their two daughters were discovered at a San Diego home Tuesday morning, police and family members said.

Firefighters, paramedics and police were sent to 162 Parkcreek Court, a home at the end of a cul de sac at about 6:40 a.m., San Diego police Lt. Ernie Herbst said. They found three bodies in the back yard pool and a fourth body in a bathtub inside the house, Herbst said.

"The four victims were an adult male and three females," the lieutenant said.

Friends and relatives identified the victims as Alfredo and Georgina Pimienta and their two daugthers, Priscilla, 17, and Emily 7. The bodies of the parents and the younger daughter were found in the pool, according San Diego Fire-Rescue Department spokesman Maurice Luque.

Weird things in San Diego. I can't imagine how an crazy you have to be to do something like this. Maybe they were Harold Camping followers and were so distraught that they weren't raptured that they killed themselves and their children.

While I’ve never lived in San Diego, I have been there a few times. During the 1980’s it was a beautiful and safe city.

I knew the family was Hispanic just from the headline.

This is very common with many immigrant groups. Very common with Mexicans. The mafia comes calling and you either pay or die. It has been going on for a hundred years, at least.

Was sent to school on several gas/diesel fired turbine packages at Solar Turbines back in the 1970s. They always put us up in the Royal Inn At The Wharf and enjoyed stay each time in San Diego.

Was approached by Solar Turbines about going to work for them down in Patagonia Argentina, but the Wife wouldn’t hear of it.
