Those who have read Ann Coulter's latest column on Strauss-Kahn, may see it as her usual political satire, but she is deadly serious. She mentions the little known fact that Karl Marx, whom the left regards as the champion of the oppressed, was a slaveholder. According to Coulter:
"Karl Marx kept a female slave from the time she was 8 years old, eventually using her not only as a servant but as his mistress, never acknowledging his child with her or paying her at all. She waited on him hand and foot while he explained to the world that profit is the stolen surplus value of the laborer"
Ordinary Americans have no idea how much contempt socialist elites on both sides of the Atlantic have for them. Ordinary Americans are hated and despised because they are practising Christians, and they are viewed as hillbillies, rednecks, hicks, and white trash.
The socialists elites trace their ideological roots to the anti-Christian Jacobins who took over France, following the French Revolution of 1789. The Jacobins seized power from the French Christian aristocracy, by proclaiming themselves as defenders of the poor and oppressed. The Jacobins made up the story that Queen Marie Antoinette was indifferent to the cause of the poor, when she supposedly told hungry Frenchmen who lacked bread, to eat cake instead. Yet, the Jacobins and their ideological descendants, always had more hatred and contempt for poor people, than Marie Antoinette and the European aristocracy ever did.
The ideological descendants of the Jacobins are the Western European socialist elites, the Bolsheviks of the former Soviet Union, and the limousine liberals in the United States. Just like Karl Marx, the so-called champion of the oppressed, was a slaveholder - his students, the socialist elites, are equally hypocritical. Ann Coulter noted in her column that:
"it's not unheard of that a wealthy liberal would assume the law does not apply to him. Actually, let me restate that: Wealthy liberals always assume that laws don't apply to them"
You see, socialist elites, including Strauss-Kahn, always proclaim themselves as the foremost champions of women's rights. If you or I had treated the hotel maid, in the same way in which Strauss-Kahn did, Strauss-Kahn himself would be demanding that we be jailed for life. This is because you and I are ordinary men, who are subject to the law. But Strauss-Kahn considers himself to be a superior breed of human, who is above the law.
Strauss-Kahn's hypocritical behavior is similar to that of his fellow socialists, such as Bill Clinton, Roman Polansky, Ted Kennedy, JFK, Larry Flynt, and Al Gore. All proclaimed themselves to be defenders of the rights of women, and all of them have abused women. Paula Jones fits the perfect stereotype of the "white trash American woman", who is a representative of ordinary American women, and whom socialist elites see as targets of sexual abuse.
Many elite liberals I know, perhaps most, who fit this description barely meet the 100 IQ level themselves. Being condescended to by these folks is really hard to tolerate.
our President certainly does (and we was quite open about saying so)
Well, I come from some of the finest Caucasian recyclables that Amherst County, Virginia ever produced, and socialist Euroweenies can kiss my fat happy unreconstructed ass. As can socialist American weenies, come to think of it.

Cheese eating surrender monkeys.....
I never understood why Americans care what Europeans think of them. Pretty much all the good people got out of Europe years age. If we're such white trash, why do the French call on us whenever they get into trouble?
Expanding on this, a little story...I grew up in the middle of nowhere in Virginia, went to a rural high school covering a 400-square-mile county, and ended up in the DC suburbs (out near Dulles Airport) in the late 1980s starting my IT career. One of my cow-orkers was a lady that had been transferred down from New Jersey into our office. She and her family ended up buying a house in Nokesville, VA. Nokesville, in the late ‘80s, was out on the leading edge of the creeping suburbanization of northern Virginia, a wide spot in the road way the hell out in Prince William County that was slowly being plowed under by McMansions. But in 1989, it was still quite rural, and so were the schools.
She would complain to me about the kids that her kids (in high and middle school) went to school with. She loved to crack on “redneck kids wearing those blue Future Farmers of America jackets.” Exasperated, I finally looked at her and said, “Michelle, *I* went to a high school where the FFA had 300 members out of 1100 kids. I went to a high school where the first day of deer season was an excused absence if you had a note from your parents. I went to a high school where every third car in the parking lot was a pickup with a gun rack, WITH a gun in it. And here I am, 23 years old, no tobacco stains on my shirt, trying to take your specs and turn them into programs. Look how I turned out. It’s not a problem!”
She just looked at me and said, “yeah, but you’re *normal.*”
I’ve never been so insulted in my entire life. I’m proud of where I came from. I’m proud of being the son of a self-made mechanic and a stay-at-home mom. I’m proud of being Virginian, Southern, and American, and anybody who doesn’t like it is invited to go fornicate with themselves.
Liberals, like a lot of people, hate what they don’t understand. And they simply cannot understand working people. Doesn’t matter if they live in Cleveland or Tulsa or Atlanta or some little no-stoplight town in New Hampshire, they just can’t grok those of us who work hard, raise families, believe in the American Dream, and just want the government to get out of our way and do the job the Founders assigned it 220+ years ago. How is that hard to understand? Beats me, but they can’t.

What do you mean?
(I could guess but I’d rather not)

AMEN!
won’t stop the feminists from worshipping Marx.
...haven’t heard N.O.W. condemn Strauss-Kahn either...
the word hypocrite, simply isn’t enough.
Sadly, that northeastern elitist mentality is considered the norm in my parts.
These same elitists will be left deer-in-the-headlight gazed when the sh!t finally does hit the fan, and New York shuts down. What will they do when Starbucks is closed, the subways don’t run and the grocery stores run out of food?
I keep a picture of myself (dressed in my best camo) with a dead deer at my feet and my rifle in my hand on my desk at work. Most people sneer and get repulsed by it. I know exactly what type of person they are when they do it.
This isn't a vanity about somebody's sick rabbit. It is pertinent to the national news and every bit as well written (more so, actually) than anything Frank Rich ever has written. It is placed where it belongs.
Yeah? Well neither I nor anyone in my family, that I know of, nor any of my friends, that I know of, has ever wound up in jail accused of attacking a hotel maid and leaving his “DNA” on her clothes. I guess we’re just not that high-class.
These are the people with which the left claims W hurt America’s standing. Who cares?
This is a class thing, essentially. The socialist elites of France are just entitled to this sort of escapade. If they desire the sexual favors of the African maid, they just take them from her. They don't need permission.
I read that Strauss Kahn was warned that what he regards as normal behavior would get him into trouble in America. Apparently, he didn't listen.
The French press and people are dumbfounded by the American reaction, just like they were with the Polanski case.
People of such rank are entitled to use the lessers like disposable tissues. We are so gauche to think otherwise.
Living in NW New Jersey (a/k/a the normal part)I was voted FFA Queen in high school. :)
Not all of New Jerseyians are a-holes. Most, but not all...
Heh, I don’t even claim to be a good country boy! I don’t hunt, I don’t fish, I live in a city and surf the Internet for fun...hell, when the zombies come, I’ll be one of the first ones they eat. Best I can hope for is that they get clogged arteries from me. :)
That doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate being raised in a place where traditional values and work were instilled into me, though. Doesn’t mean I can’t be proud of a dad who busted his tail to keep food on the table and put me through college, and who started his own business not once, but twice—his auto shop was condemned by the state in the late ‘60s for a highway and he was given pennies on the dollar for it. He had to move it five miles away and rebuild it all over again.
