Ohio's congressional delegation is shrinking; Washington state's is growing. So with the prospect of losing his congressional seat to redistricting, Ohio congressman Dennis Kucinich is exploring a House run in Washington, far away from Cleveland, the city he was once the mayor of. My district appears to be on the block, so I am looking at options, and I am not limiting those options to Ohio, Kucinich told the New York Times.

Evidently there’s no arguing with someone who has a studio glamour shot all ready post at 4:30 AM eastern time.
I suspect there is at least a one year residency qualification requirement should he decide to jump to a state other than Ohio. that would mean that he would have to, at least on paper, become resident of the new state. So, would he have to move by Nov 2011 to run in Nov of ‘12? And, if he does move out of Ohio this Nov, how could he legally continue to be the rep of his current district?

Your thought process is right on target. Lefties hate when they are confronted with logic and the connecting of dots. They prefer emotional knee jerk and light weight thinking to carry the day.
