Court decision will lead to the release of 46,000 convicted felons. Scalia is quoted in his dissent, writing that the decision is "perhaps the most radical injunction issued by a court in our Nation's history."

For each crime committed by one of these released cons, the JUDGES should be held responsible....

but....that’s only in “logical-land.”

In Mexifornia that’s but a drop in the bucket...when you consider there are several million living there unlawfully already.

When one of these scumbags kills someone the 5 who released them should be indicted for aiding and abetting.

It seems that the SCOTUS is now a criminal enterprise.

Look up !

Their constitutional right not to be subjected to cruel and unusual punishment is violated by the inhumane conditions caused by overcrowding.

Hmmm well that’s not going to do California a lot of good. If I was living in California, then I would probably leave. If I was going to stay, then I would buy some ammo.

What a disastrous decision. The voters in California brought this on by reelecting the same politicians that got them in this mess.

As another poster said somewhere else on FR, this is the left’s way to get back at 3 strikes laws and circumvent voters again.

It’s a self-fullfilling prophecy. Underfund prisons, then complain about overcrowding so you can let the felons out.

Next will be a (harder)push by CA leftists to allow felons to vote.

I think you hit the nail on the head. Refusing to adequately fund the prisons is a crime in and of itself. No rational person wants 54 inmates to one toilet but that is what happens when mandatory sentences hit legislative inaction. There we go to catch and release. Britain is already there where murders do seven to ten.

Sarah needs to make a big deal out of the fact that the Obama picks on the SCOTUS voted in favor of releasing these felons!!!
