LIVE THREAD! PRIME MINISTER BENJAMIN NETANYAHU AT AIPAC
AIPAC/ also CSPAN2 ^ | May, 23, 2011 | onyx

At 7:00 p.m. EDT, this photo box will turn into the live feed from the Monday banquets at AIPAC Policy Conference 2011

Monday, May 23, 2011 - 10:00am

While Washington, D.C., is increasingly consumed with bickering between Democrats and Republicans, the U.S.-Israel relationship remains the one issue that transcends the partisan divide. In a display of this bipartisan spirit, more than half of Congress will attend tonight's Gala Banquet, which will fill a room large enough to fit the Washington Monument on its side.

This year, however, for the first time ever, Hall D/E, as massive as it is, cannot fit all delegates and guests for a sit-down dinner. As a result, all student delegates will be seated in the Ballroom Banquet in Ballrooms A, B and C. Each banquet will feature live and simulcast appearances as well as unique programming. The major speakers tonight—Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, House Majority Leader John Boehner and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid—will appear personally in both banquet halls.

Representatives from more than 65 countries—including ambassadors from China, South Africa, Mexico, Turkey and the Netherlands—will be seated at tonight's dinner.

Senators, members of Congress, administration officials, foreign diplomats and other VIPs at the banquets will have their names read during the Roll Call, a lively Policy Conference tradition that has been a crowd favorite for many years. AIPAC National Board members Amy Friedkin and Michael Tuchin will join AIPAC Executive Director Howard Kohr for the Roll Call.

The Gala Banquet will be the end of a full day of Monday programming. The morning kicks off with an address by Reverend Dr. Tony Crisp. After the morning plenary, delegates will head to lobbying workshops, where they will learn from AIPAC's top experts how to make the case for Israel on Capitol Hill tomorrow.

I am so glad YOU know what God wants...

I'm pretty sure that God is more concerned with people, than dogs. He didn't say "suffer the little dogs". As for Levin, it's a shame about a dead dog, but he knew it was coming. I had to give my best friend of 7 years away a couple months ago, due to (my) health reasons. It was heart wrenching, and I shed a lot of tears (even as I am posting this). But, I've shed a lot more for those PEOPLE in need today!!!

I'm sorry you were offended (not). Maybe you should consult your Bible about what God wants! I have. Israel is in God's hands, and so are we...

Some trust in chariots, some in horses, but apparently many place their trust in radio people! God is raining down all sorts of judgment on America, and the world, and you guys are voicing concerned about a guy down because a dog died, like it's really at the top of your list.

As for conservative, I'm on that side, too!

G'night!

I’m glad Boehner’s getting off - too bad the MSM will blame Netanyahu’s speech being late on him rather than on Reid...
