If state-run media really believed that Sarah Palin was unelectable, they'd be begging the GOP to nominate her.

I know a ‘Democrat close to the New York Times’ who said the New York Times is a “Sh_t hole to work for”!

"Some say" and "those close to" are favorite progressive dodges to cover up no sources.
How would they like:
"Some say those close to Obama are worried that his cocaine use will come back to haunt him."

Sarah Palin, Herman Cain, Jim De Mint, Marco Rubio, and Michelle Bachmann best represent what the GOP SHOULD be all about.
Unfortunately, the establishment GOP regulars are pushing Romney and Pawlenty right now. But only because Cristie and Daniels are not available.

Some say that Obama doesn't have a fricken' clue until that daily faxed 'to do' list arrives from Soros.
Some say that Jarrett, Moochelle and Mrs Robinson have resolved their differences and that each have agreed to be the president every third day.

another Republican close to Ailes told me. Roger is worried about the future of the country. He thinks the election of Obama is a disaster. He thinks Palin is an idiot. He thinks shes stupid. He helped boost her up. People like Sarah Palin havent elevated the conservative movement. Now, remember this is New York Magazine. (By Gabriel Sherman)
Now, look at this whimpish weenee!
Gabriel Sherman
My name is Gabriel Sherman. I am a contributing editor at New York Magazine and a special correspondent for the New Republic. Previously, I was a staff writer at Conde Nast Portfolio. Prior to 2006, I was the media reporter at the New York Observer, where I reported extensively on the internal newsroom fights that roiled the New York Times, including the papers flawed coverage of Saddam Husseins Weapons of Mass Destruction and the decision to delay publishing its NSA wiretapping exclusive for more than a year. I reported extensively on Judith Millers fight with Times editors and reporters, and ultimately sat down for her first interview on the eve of her resignation from the paper.
I have served as a media commentator on CNN, MSNBC and National Public Radio, any my journalism has appeared in the New York Times, the Guardian, Slate, the Atlantic, Wired, Outside Magazine and National Geographic Adventure, among other publications. A competitive runner, I have run six marathons and I finished the 2003 New York City Marathon in 2:56:29. I have also run up the stairs of the Empire State Building in 13:26.

Despite a massive effort to destroy Sarah Palin, she is still on her feet and making a difference in the political world.Yep. They admit it has been a "massive effort" and that it has failed to stop her.
That sort of resillience (backbone) is something sorely lacking in much of the GOP, and would be welcome in the White House.
Imagine her addressing a Republican Congress, holding their feet to the fire!

As for the Republican close to Ailes for which the incorrect Palin quote is attributed, when Roger figures out who that is, I guarantee you he or she will no longer be close to Ailes. Oh, please let Ailes find out who the anonymous source was, and, please oh please let it be Rove. Good hunting, Roger!

The media is pointedly ignoring how much people genuinely LOVE Sarah Palin. (And by “people” I mean Americans, not Chablis-sucking Leftists or anyone from Massachusetts.) Obummer can’t fill a high school gym while Sarah packs them in everywhere she speaks.
Maybe she should politically “mature” for a few more years. There is some merit to that idea. But the wolf is at the door NOW and we can barely wait until next year, let alone 2016 or 2020.
Flawed or not, Sarah Palin is my choice until further notice.
