This woman was guilty of torture. A depraved and cruel act on a child because of her anger and desire for revenge against a totally different person.
I can’t imagine anyone more deserving of the death penalty.

How could the baby die quickly if she was still alive the following day? What kind of people would try to cover up something like this with their testimonies? Good Lord, the agony of the baby is too horrific to contemplate. This is no human mother - it's a demon that should be destroyed.

What an absolutely vile and heinous crime.
But apparently in Dayton, roasting your infant child in a microwave isn’t considered too awful, as crimes go.
I live near Dayton and this murdering animal has cost the city of Dayton (which is pretty much destitute anyway) the cost of I believe it is 3 trials, soon to be 4 as her lawyers plan to appeal this sentence.
SHe is lucky not the be sent to death row as she deserves.
Her story changed daily, first someone else did it, then she wasn’t around when it happened, then she was but someone else did it but she doesn’t know who it was etcetc until I guess she opened her mouth in jail and admitted to others that she was in fact guilty, but then she denied she did that - it goes on and on and I cannot believe that this horrible person who committed this horrific crime actually caused hung juries and repeated retrials.
It is nauseating.

I only read the headline, I can’t read this stuff anymore. It serves a useful purpose to remind us that evil is rampant in the world and it may be just me that can’t handle it any more.
Father God, please allow this ‘woman’ to be placed in the general population once in prison. I’d call her a mother, but it would only be half the word, and while I know I am forgiven for my sins, I don’t want sin again. Father, please allow your will to be carried out, as Matthew 18:4-6 says “Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.”
