Hard to believe they did not scope out the route and run through with the limo or a mock-up. This is pretty basic stuff. They couldn't even get this car off the embassy grounds (which are our roads, not Irish roads, BTW).

Since he’s on an ancestral home tour, when is visiting his ancestral home in Boston?

“Change of car and off he goes.”
Thanks. The procession that follows his second limo is filled with those giant bus/van things. Full of cooks and SS agents and boyfriends, and who knows what. Also a useful screen if they need to ring him off while he gets out of the limo.
I’ve never seen anything like that in any other President’s entourage, not even when clintbilly used to visit Manhattan on his constant fundraisers.

Soccer hooligans, pints of ale, and five bags of ready-mix asphalt paver.
It's how to turn a speed bump into a goal keeper.

If the car got stuck coming out of the lot, how in the world did it get in there without mishap in the first place?

Suspension failure. Maybe either air suspension or hydraulic piston type. Either way, over-loaded and pancaked.
I couldn't find any specifications online.
To: smokingfrog
Shouldn’t be more than a few hundred grand to repair the damage to the vehicle.

Nice to hear the rent a crowd laughing at the won.I was thinking the same thing. Why would a crowd of Irish people give a crap about seeing the motorcade and also to be cheering? Now way, I call BS on this one.

I’m sure it was Bush’s fault. His agents designed the driveway knowing that someday a DemocRat _res__ent would get stuck there.
