NEW YORK – Recalling Dan Brown's bestselling novel "The Da Vinci Code," computer experts have discovered strange anomalies in the Obama birth record released by the White House.
They include a different birth registration number that shows up in "hidden text," remnants of the short-form certificate apparently bleeding through the long-form and a "smiley face" in the registrar's stamp that does not show up on other recently issued Hawaii birth records.
Curiously, in a simple process run by Optical Character Recognition software that reveals hidden text, the registration number 10611 turns up, instead of 10641, the number displayed on the two birth records authorized for publication by the White House.

I've seen some things from Corsi that look quite credible, and some that I find totally indefensible.

On another note, why have people not commented on the story of the deaths of Gaddafi's son and grandchildren. At the time it happened, it had the possibility of blowing up the 0bama administration. With the attack in Pakistan on "OBL", it was as forgotten as the $2 Trillion in missing money from the Pentagon on 9/10/01.

I agree with you, the released document is a forgery. It is nothing like an official document. If I scanned mine, it would have nothing but printed numbers and letters, in logical order, on the same lines. No BS, signings by FAO Schwarz, or U. K le LEE.

Have you EVER heard that phrase about someone 'just wanting to sell books' used on a liberal? It was used against Linda Tripp - Paula Jones - and Jennifer Flowers. It was NEVER said about Clinton, Obama, or any other liberal...

IMO, birthers are not saying the mere presence of "layers" is proof of anything. Dr. Corsi says it's that the layers are from difference documents and he claims to be close to finding those documents.
This is nothing compared to the Ruby Ridge and Waco controversy.
I followed those early-mid 1990s events very closely, radio was 24/7; big topic for local conservative hosts. Even Art Bell reported regularly on the events. I recall the Indianapolis lawyer calling for a march on Washington to include lynching Congressmen. Bring your weapons! I think that was her last guest appearance on the show. Art had a FBI man or two on the show after that to give the government's side -- again!
I recall a KSFO, Geoff Medcalf show I'm pretty sure, guest describing his experience observing at Ruby Ridge. He said that he and a local resident (a guide) were watching events from a hill side. They saw a helicopter approach with a helicopter bucket.
The two were in the open watching the helicopter and the helicopter bucket. Shortly after the helicopter passed over them it turned back and left the area. Their conclusion.. the helicopter crew saw them and the crew aborted the mission to dump gasoline on the cabin.
There was also a ton of talk on CompuServe.
Of course not. But what the White House released was a PDF. Had they released a 1200dpi uncompressed scan of an 8.5"x11" page, the file would have been rather enormous. What they released was a greatly-compressed PDF. I agree that the resolution on even the bitonal text was pretty crummy, though not as bad as some PDF's I've seen of archival material such as IC datasheets. The bitonal text was IIRC twice the resolution of the color or grayscale material, which would be in line with a program trying to make a readable document in a compact format. Imagine how readable the thing would have been if it were a uniform color bitmap in the same resolution as the color parts of the picture.
