Another candidate has entered the Republican presidential field. Former Godfather's Pizza CEO Herman Cain announced his candidacy for the Republican nomination in his home town of Atlanta, Georgia today. Instead of announcing via social networking websites, Cain, currently a talk radio host, made his announcement at a rally in Centennial Olympic Park.
On his website, Cain writes, "The biggest barrier to solving many of our national problems is lack of leadership."

“I remember it was like pulling rino teeth to get them when we needed them.”
I know what you mean. McCain/Palin Yard signes were very difficult to get here in the Northwest. The County GOP offices had none delivered to them. When I found out a small number was dropped off at a fellow Freepers home 70 miles away, I drove all the way their to get 2 of them.
McCain’s strategy was choosing what states to spend his money in, and they looked at Washington State as being hopeless so ignored us.
I had to go on-line to find bumper stickers.
Get ready for Black on Black name calling from the White House.
When he was saying “Free at last”, I actually applauded him IN MY OWN LIVING ROOM. Wouldn’t it be nice to throw off the shackles that government bureaucracy has burdened us with? To have a President that loves America?
It’s 1500 now. He’s a relative unknown at the moment. If he’s the real deal, he’ll be packing them in before long. He has had very limited exposure so far. The campaign hasn’t even kicked off yet.
Patience.
Did you stick around to listen to the callers to CSPAN. Of course all the Republican Callers were thrilled, and you heard the usual suspects call in on the Democrat line, but the last Democrat caller said he voted for Obama, and was exited about Cain. He sounded real. He was Aunt Bessie.
Cain talked about his Aunt Bessie, a moderate Obama voter. We all know an Aunt Bessie, dont we? If we all could convince one moderate Obama voter to not vote for him again, there is no way he could win.
Now we know why the end of the world was canceled.
Here’s the second verse of the ‘Star Spangled Banner’ sung by the same gentleman at a Tea Party rally in Georgia last June. He’s a Marine!

...or new tagline! :D
Another one;
BEAT OBAMA WITH A CAIN!
Well, you just made me misty eyed. I am bummed that I missed his speech live.
“all I have to do is cut the muck off my leftover McCain/Palin stickers and Im good to go”
LOL!
Cain’s a good man. I really like his position on the Fair Tax.
Great! I’ve read about half a dozen on this thread that would make great tags or bumper stickers! :)
If we’re comparing....I’ll take the one who’s WELL DONE, please! :-)
GO HERMANTOR!!!!!!!!
I agree. Although let’s hope in the case of Mr. West and Ms. Bachmann that their respective districts would be able to replace them adequately with strong like-minded conservatives.
Thank God!
i like to think of herman cain as the dark horse candidate...
hahahaha
get it?
hahahahahaha
no, it’s not racist, unless you think racist thoughts.
teeman
Cain is Able. Cain and then Cain Again.
Love Herman Cain, hated the sun glasses. I need to see his eyes.
This is from AP. Could they be any more haughty and condescending?
He’s going to need money and grassroots support, and enormous amounts of both to overcome everyone who hopes he fails: the Democrats, the media (redundant, I know) and the establishment GOP. BUT, if we choose him, there’s nothing they can do about it. Let’s stop hoping for unlikely darkhorses to emerge and starting focusing on the winner we have before us in Herman Cain.
McCain/Palin in 2012.
