Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with U.S. President Barack Obama in Washington on Friday, holding a closed door session in the Oval Office after which each delivered statements to the press.
The two leaders' comments come a day after the U.S. president's Mideast policy speech called for negotiations for two-state solution based on 1967 lines.
Obama opened the conference saying that the changes in the region such as what has happened in Egypt with the fall of Mubarak, are an opportunity for prosperity. He said that the 'Arab Spring' is a window for change, and that the United States plans to be closely involved.

I wonder if BHO knew that would be Netanyahu’s response.
Why?
So when all heck breaks loose, BHO can say that he counseled negotiation and appeasement.
Or maybe he and all his handlers really are that stoopid.
I can’t tell anymore...
Nothing has changed in the intervening years, except that Netanyahu developed and matured into a true man and leader. On the other hand, BHO is still the same narcissistic punk posing to strike an image (common for people with no core values).
Thank you, and you’re conclusion is exactly right IMO.
Vacating the Golan is dangerous. I can’t believe the president would seriously push that part of his speech.
I dont think that ANYBODY in the administration (or the Arab world for that matter) expected any other response from Bibi. No one in the admin. is surprised or even disappointed. The question is: what game are they playing?

You sir, are a thinker. Set ups and staging are always curious theatre.
And he might be advised to invite the squatters in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank to find a new residence.
I am glad that SOMEONE stood up to this A$$-HAT!
We know that the GOP in Congress doesn’t have enough backbone between the lot to do it!
heck, I’ll photoshop it myself! lol
And they can’t be contiguous today. One must sever the other.
can the guy standing on the left be my president?
The game is Obama bolstering his street cred with the Muslim world after the bin Laden killing.
And we don’t even have a Republican willing to stand up to this democrat weasel.
“The status quo remains in place. Everybody wins from this charade, except of course the American taxpayer who pays for more and more welfare money for both Bibi and assorted Arabs.”
Your ignorance of the Middle East “charade” and how you have it all boiled down in your mind to we are giving giving too much money to Israel, astounds me. Such lack of critical thinking on your part should not unwatched go.
That was my guess immediately.
Also remember that Netanyahu’s opposition in Israel, fully supports Obama’s position, and Obama is trying to do everything he can to ensure Bibi’s defeat in the next election.
I will certainly be disappointed if Bibi’s approval ratings in Israel don’t skyrocket after this.
Who the F**k does he think he is telling another president where his countries borders should be? Pathetic excuse for a human being...God I pray 2012 doesn’t see Osh*thead back in office!!
Interesting.... Captain Kirk joined in 1998.
