Sarah Palin: I do have the fire in my belly to run in 2012 (Video - On The Record Tonight w/Greta)
Right Scoop ^ | Thursday May 19, 2011

Posted on 05/19/2011 8:16:58 PM PDT by Bigtigermike

She says that she definitely has the fire in her belly to fight to put America back on the right track:

"I think my problem is that I do have that fire in my belly. I am so adamantly supportive of the good traditional things about America and our free enterprise system and I want to make sure that America is put back on the right track and we only do that by defeating Obama in 2012. I have that fire in my belly."

Right before this Sarah also took another slam at Newt Gingrich, and a good one too:

You know what I thought after the whole Newt Gingrich thing in these last 24 hours, Greta, was ‘bless his heart and every other Good Ol’ boy’s heart that’s in that political game there in the beltway. They don’t really know any more than the rest of us.’

Greta, it was Newt Gingrich who told me in January of this year “Sarah Palin needs to slow down and really think through what it is she has to say.” Well you know, he stumbles too. We all stumble. We all have our strengths and our weaknesses."

The entire interview is great. Enjoy!

Look we’ve all listened to Sarah and Hillary for awhile. So what’s your point. ( mrspeelwerneeded is FOR Sarah, btw.0

I am not a Bachman supporter. I am for the Republican nominee if it’s George of the Jungle, including Palin. But Sarah and Bachman are already knee deep in fault on grasp. Hillary was at fault on likability and generally a pain, but Hillary rides a rocket on knowledge, experience, savy, and media, and Sarah? Sarah is definitely really getting into whining.

We need a leader more than we a good “bad cop” (VP)

Sarah is loved because of who she is and I would one have more respect for her than almost any other person alive.

I think Sarah (somehow) is a big piece of of all Conservatives, and that is why she is hated so vehemently by the left and rinos alike

I think it is doubtful, she runs. Her daugther’s decision, which was made as a family, at this time in their lives leads me to believe she is not running - And if she is, that was a poor decision made, thinking it makes much sense to have the First Daughter as part of a reality TV program (because if Palin were to win, the $$ they would throw at her to continue the show would be to much to pass up).

You must be joking. Hillary has recently said that Aljazeera offers the best news, Basher Assad is a reformer and Israeli settlements are “illegitimate”. She is nothing but another Marxist, anti-Semitic crackpot. Not to mention a pathological liar. “ ============

I agree with everything you say, except the part that I was joking.

I heard Bachmann the other day say her Facebook page was on fire with new fans and supporters. So just for the heck of it, I dropped by that day and she had 146,000, as of tonight, she has 148,000.

This while Palin has 2,964,000 and rapidly closing in on 3 million.

There is currently a drive for her Facebook supporters to donate 30 bucks each to SarahPac when she hits the 3,000,000 mark. Us, Wife and I are jumping the gun and going to do so right now.

Bachmann will cut a lttle into Sarah's base, but the base that wants Sarah really wants Sarah, and if she jumps in, even if later, she draws back enough from Bachmann to put together a winning coalition for the GOP nomination.

I made my point, as several other posters did to you as well on this thread.

Anyone willing to state that Hillary has a grasp on the issues while Palin does not does not belong on this CONSERVATIVE site.

With those types of beliefs, either you are a mole, moderate to liberal in your actual beliefs, or just plain politically ignorant.

None of these are good things.

Everyone who reads those two sentences will see the extreme dissonance between those statements.

Given your approval of Hillary, and your inability to see how inexperienced she is and instead how much of a left-wing extreme idealogue she is, I sincerely doubt you will be voting for the Republican candidate.

Your own words betray you!

Sarah is in my prayers each night. Our country is in deep trouble & we need a Conservative candidate who loves our country to replace the marxist in office at the present time.

I hope that God will protect Sarah and give her the courage to decide to run for the presidency. We need her now - not later. Our country can't take much more of the deadly, destructive decisions that Obama is making daily.

There are those who think that she can't win, but I believe in miracles. God loves & has blessed America to be the greatest country on earth. If we show the courage to trust in Him & put our lives & our country in His hands, we will prevail.

There is power in prayer. Sarah needs our support & prayers and she'll do fine.

oh yeah having Palin’s daughter being seen week afte rweek in the company of two black well liked actors is a bad decision? Yeah it’s not like it will not temper the charge sof racism against Gov Palin or anything. I mean it’s can’t of hard to call someone a racist when your daughter is sharing an apartment on good terms with two black actors isn’t it? all while her mother is being supportive of the TV show.

like I siad you can deal with it now or you can stay in denial. She is running and she will be the nominee.

your decision at tha tpoint will be Palin or Obama.

Singing praises for Hillry as anything better than Sarah, removes any 'gravitas' and 'credibility' from your posts, given old Hillry could NOT even stave off a political pup still in diapers. See unofficially Hillry was coCIC during the Clintons years. Either you are a liberal playing moderate, or you are very young and were not awake during the 90's.

Now see I like Sarah, but, I still have misgivings about what role old lord McCain might have in any presidential campaign she may choose to run. So I would not be considered blindly in love with Sarah. But I have watched old Hillry since that day she spouted off in the cold barren fields of Iowa about people who expected her to be baking cookies...

I am not going to couch reality for you just because you appear to be folding like a cellephane tent. I crossed over in an open primary caucas to keep Hillary from the nomination, so any lectures by you on Hillary hit a wall with me. Hillary has no virtues but her grasp of issues marxist as they are DID set the campaign standard for female contenders. Live with it or match it.

"I do have the fire in my belly to run in 2012 "

I hate that old, tired, left over expression from the 2008. It's really tacky. Sarah's advisors can do better than that.

Bachmann ain’t going to cut into s#it. Gov. Palin won’t endorse her because she doesn’t have any executive experience. We already have one clown in the white house without any experience.

Bachmann is right of Gov. Palin and won’t attract any Independents.
