She says that she definitely has the fire in her belly to fight to put America back on the right track:
"I think my problem is that I do have that fire in my belly. I am so adamantly supportive of the good traditional things about America and our free enterprise system and I want to make sure that America is put back on the right track and we only do that by defeating Obama in 2012. I have that fire in my belly."
Right before this Sarah also took another slam at Newt Gingrich, and a good one too:
You know what I thought after the whole Newt Gingrich thing in these last 24 hours, Greta, was bless his heart and every other Good Ol boys heart thats in that political game there in the beltway. They dont really know any more than the rest of us.
Greta, it was Newt Gingrich who told me in January of this year Sarah Palin needs to slow down and really think through what it is she has to say. Well you know, he stumbles too. We all stumble. We all have our strengths and our weaknesses."
The entire interview is great. Enjoy!

Hey...I asked first!! But that stuff is so potent that a little bit MUST go a long way...so I'm willing to share.
You are not understanding, Obama will never get hit hard because the press will throw the joke card down. I agree that is seems with the conditions of the Country that it would be possible for Obama to unbeatable but the black shield is a very powerful weapon he has to use. It plays on the guilt of many. I have been called a racists from my libby friends for being conservative and I just throw it back on them. Why would bring up someone’s skin color unless you are the one having those thoughts? But Palin, Newt, Romney will not get away with saying the truth like that, the press will ambush them more. The only person that will be immuned is Cain. And I totally disagree with you on Newt, the guy was media blasted in 1998 and has still ranks highly in politics. That takes a pretty tough guy I think.
Good to hear.
Bwahhhahhhahahhahahahahahahah!!!!!!!!!
(Inhales deeply, dabs corners of eyes, inhales deeply again)
Hwaaahhhahhahahahahahahahahahahhahahah!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the chuckle,

OK, maybe I have trouble holding back my reactions, too . . . sorry about that . . . (chortle)
Sounds like your troubles are a little deeper then that.
Really? That makes more sense than all the other crap I’ve heard put together.
Would be nice to confirm the date.
Yeah, I have an allergy to concern trolls.
Cute.

You may be right, but it is my suspicion that the only thing Hillary has in her life is her "career". She's sacrificed everything for her ambition. I just can't see her giving up on her dream of being the first female US president.
Well, that's it in a nutshell.
I'm very skeptical that elections with universal suffrage hold any possibility of saving the country, but, if there IS a chance Sarah is the one to do it.
If not?
Well, then, at least we'll know, and can get on with Phase II, or cultivate our own gardens.
The idea that it's Daniels, or Perry, or Pale-enty, or (God forbid) Romney is just so ludicrous. They're all in it together.
And, by the way, for all you "Palin for GOP nomination" types - if somehow she decides to submit to the "process", and we get her nominated - the Daniels-Perry-Bush wing is going to endorse Obama. Count on it.
She is, maybe without realizing it, a revolutionary figure, and the usual suspects are NOT going to go quietly.
I heard James Carville on Hannity yesterday, and his belief is that there will be "three, maybe four" major candidates in 2012. I've been saying that for two years.
The closest fit for what is coming, IMO, is 1860.
Like the Democrats then, the GOP now contains two parties which cannot and will not be reconciled. The MOST likely outcome is that there will be two nominal Republicans in the race.
Obama will be #3.
Because of the disaster which impends, there will probably be a Bell-Everett, "Constitutional Union", "can't we all just get along" type on the ballot, as well.
The Republican Party is irreconcilably divided between Big Central Government Republicans and Palinstinians. Neither side will give in - whichever side prevails, what's left afterwards will be very different.
Bottom line is that in a 40% conservative 20% liberal country, the conservative faction WILL be represented at the national level, or we will have dictatorship.
Exactly. Sarah attracts more viewers/listeners on ANY show, anytime. Hillary can't even get Bill to tune in.
Obama will never get hit hard by the press, but thats where someone who runs a good campaign (not a McCain lets all go along to get along style campaign) can really stick it to the arrogant bastard. FRiend, I know that the mainstream media is going to do their best to discredit true conservatives such as, Palin, Cain, and Bachman. Ronald Reagan was considered a joke because of an awful movie he made with a chimp, but the real reason why he got ridiculed so much was because he was a true conservative who had ideas that threatened their agenda and exposed the false promises of liberalism. The media can play the joke card, race card all they want, but its an old playbook, and lets remember that Barack Obama got elected not entirely on race, the big reason why Obama got elected was because of a slumping economy, two wars, increasing unemployment, and the fact that he wasnt George W. Bush.
Hmmm, actually that sounds like the winning recipe for victory for 2012 just add an unpopular Obamacare program, three wars, 9% unemployment, skyrocketing fuel with no end in sight, increased food prices, and that last part drop George W. Bush and add Barack Obama. The GOP candidate is going to get in because this election, like the last election, is going to be a repudiation of Obamas America. An America where theres a lot of change, for the worse, and hope is just about gone. I wouldnt worry about the race card in the next election, the race card wont guilt people into voting for Obama if conditions are indeed that bad, and knowing the nature of his presidency, things could get much, much worse.
By the way, I used to love Newt, in fact I have a picture of me interviewing Newt, and it sits in my home office. Six years ago I would have agreed with you that Newt was a very, very viable candidate for the Presidency. But, unfortunately the Newt of the 90s isnt the same Newt of this decade. His affairs are old news but they are still very damaging to his candidacy, his endorsement of Dede Schofaza was horrible, his recent blasting of the congressional GOP was uncalled for, and coming out for a version of universal healthcare was thee absolute last straw for me. I want a true conservative, with executive experience, who isnt afraid to go for the KO on Obama, so far the only choice that I have in that category is Sarah Louise Palin.
Cain would make a great Veep too. But I think, and I hate to say this, that the VP is going to be Tim Pawlenty or Mitch Daniels. I think if Sarah gets the nod they’re going to put an establishment candidate up as the Veep to calm down the beltway elites. I hope I’m wrong abou that one, but that’s just the way I feel.
America has been a socialist country for many decades now..
Social Security is pure socialism.. not like pure socialism BUT Pure sociALism..
And if you must pay taxes on something you OWN... you're merely renting it from the government..
Property taxes ARE socialism.. all government licenses, fees and penalty's ARE taxes...
Income tax and fiat money IS socialism..
Refreshing honesty, thank you.
>> “She does do a great job as the flamethrower @ Obama.” <<
.
It would take a liberal such as yourself to imagine that speaking the truth is flamethrowing.
Come January 2013, you can start throwing your flames at President Sarah Palin.
>> “2016 would be better for Sarah.” <<
.
If Sarah Palin isn’t elected president in 2012, America will fail long before 2016.
>> “Unfortunately, Hillary set the standard for a female candidate, on laser knowledge of foreign relations, policy, political savy, dealing with media, etc., and the media will accept nothing less from the next female contender.” <<
.
You’re joking, right?
Hitlery has demonstrated a total lack of understanding of foreign policy issues with her gaffe-a-minute stumbling, while Palin has done exactly the opposite with her total acceptance by our allies as she travels.
