She says that she definitely has the fire in her belly to fight to put America back on the right track:
"I think my problem is that I do have that fire in my belly. I am so adamantly supportive of the good traditional things about America and our free enterprise system and I want to make sure that America is put back on the right track and we only do that by defeating Obama in 2012. I have that fire in my belly."
Right before this Sarah also took another slam at Newt Gingrich, and a good one too:
You know what I thought after the whole Newt Gingrich thing in these last 24 hours, Greta, was bless his heart and every other Good Ol boys heart thats in that political game there in the beltway. They dont really know any more than the rest of us.
Greta, it was Newt Gingrich who told me in January of this year Sarah Palin needs to slow down and really think through what it is she has to say. Well you know, he stumbles too. We all stumble. We all have our strengths and our weaknesses."
The entire interview is great. Enjoy!

Sarah Palin isn’t going to endorse Michele Bachmann. Sarah Palin is gearing-up for her own run.
[I was around for Reagan and Palin supporters are more willing to fight and work for her than Reagan’s in 1979. ]
For Reagan, it was a very important fight, but a lot of us were just learning how to be conservatives. This time around though, it is a death match, we don’t expect to come out alive if Palin doesn’t win (or someone awfully like her). We are facing financial collapse, collapse of the middle east, a decent into a sort of cold civil war where our children become indentured servants. Not pretty at all.
I love Palin, and would love her to run, but I just can’t get excited anymore.
Every candidate who I have loved, has dropped out in previous races, from Thompson, to Duncan Hunter, etc, and we get left with warmed over GOPers who are “next in line” ala McCain or Dole.
I swear, they get revved up, I get all excited, they get some serious momentum, and then someone, or something (tin foil hat here) gets to them and they drop out.
So, as much as I love Palin, and I do, and would pull the lever for her in an instant, I swear, it’s going to be Romney or Newt or some other lame-ass on our ticket.
I hope I’m wrong, I hope I’m wrong in a very serious way, but the excitement, the fire in my belly of going out, passing out fliers, getting on the phone, talking to everyone and spreading the word about my candidate, is gone, because it seems like it is always for naught. I’m let down year after year, and stuck with some warmed over old maverick who appeals more to the dems in the primaries than conservatives.
Maybe that will change in the coming months... I sure hope so.
I was thrilled to ping you!
Now that you’ve replied, I will go happily to sleep!
Hugs and prayers, dear friend!!!!
LOL! 2016? Grow up in socialism? You think that’s what SARAH wants for her children or any other children?
Sleep well and dream of your outfit for the Sarah Inaugural Ball!
I agree they are on the same page. Bachmann said on one of her Iowa visits that she was "preparing the way", "getting the issues on the table". More recently, Bachmann said she will decide sometime in June whether she will run.
I expect that Bachmann's declaration will coincide precisely with Palin's official entry into the race. Their polling numbers combined are almost double Romney's. If they are working together, it will become obvious then, and Romney's fundraising will wither to nothing, and his poll numbers will hit rock bottom.
Texas Gov. Rick Perry may say publicly that he's not interested in running for the Republican presidential nomination in 2012, but his actions suggest something different.

Amen, brother - America, and Sarah, can NOT wait any longer. This is our last chance to save this great nation from the dark abyss of the slavery of socialism.
ROFLMAO. "Hillary"..."laser knowledge of....". SURELY you jest. "Hillary" knows less about foreign policy (or pretty much anything else) than Palin.
What "is" your source for the stuff you're smoking, because it sure must be potent to generate those kinds of hallucinations?
Sorry, lady, but with that comment you just lost ALL credibility.
2016 would be better for Sarah.. after the girls grow up..I agree with you and then some because she has a special needs boys at home too. To say there's not enough time left for the country (as others have said) is putting more hope (and trust) in Sarah than in God.
Fire in the belly, I like that, it reminds me of what we shall seek in the strength and purity of our spiritual flame.
Is it dark, sooty and of a low temperature such as the effect of an oxyacetylene torch without any oxygen?
Sarah Palin portrays the image of a properly adjust flame such as a torch used to cut steel, the flame is fast, concentrated and is capable of precision cutting even against the hardest steels.
Your post makes a lot of sense. Especially, eliminating those cabinet positions. And I think Bolton should be Sec of State.
Abolish any agency and revoke any regulation whose sole claim of constitutional authority is that Congress "finds" that whatever they're regulating "has a substantial effect on interstate commerce".
Obama will Chicagocide Canckles long before she gets close to taking him on in the primaries.
