Obama: No Recovery for Years!
TownHall ^ | May 14, 2011 | Kevin McCullough

President Obama's understanding of economic growth, and hence a full recovery of the economy, is lacking of insight, but most importantly honesty. If he does not correct course he will be pummeled in 2012. For dancing around the truth, and asking others to believe the spin, especially when they are living the opposite reality portends not just bad character, but a self destructive political strategy.

Watching President Obama attempt to speak straight in the midst of his reelection campaign efforts has become almost amusing. "Almost amusing" because when one out of ten workers cannot find work, and one out of five families is working as hard as they ever have, but cannot provide basic needs for themselves, people tend to get a little out of sorts as it pertains to being truthful about the economy.

When a struggling family is paying $5 a gallon for gasoline, and the President told people this past week that America is providing more domestically drilled barrels of oil a day "than at any point in history," but the truth is our production is roughly half of what it was in 1970, they tend to be annoyed, not amused.

Obama lied about oil production. He continues to lie about anything and everything if it helps him.

My friend Bill sent me this comment about this article:

"The article says that people struggling to put food on the table are "annoyed" at $5/gal gas while being told that production is the highest in years. "Annoyed"? No, one is ANNOYED when the line for an ice cream cone is too long. One is ANNOYED when trying to read a book and the phone rings. The American people are not ANNOYED at this, they are downright angry, some murderously so. People having to cart their four or five children around in a van and paying $70 to fill it up are pining for different leadership...nay, they are pining for ANY kind of leadership, not the mealy-mouthed dithering in-over-his-head paralysis of the Obama regime."

the President told people this past week that America is providing more domestically drilled barrels of oil a day "than at any point in history,"

What?!? Back in the 70s every other man in Texas was working in the oil industry. You could barely drive anywhere that someone wasn't already pumping or was digging test holes. Now days, I don't see any wells. Maybe out west or up in the panhandle but there's far fewer even there.

OBAMAVILLE

Gett’n a head fake,
watchin' msn’s take;
All of their pundits oozing foul oil.
Clean’n my six gun on my front porch swing.
Feeling my blood--
It’s beginnin' to boil.

Wasted away again in Obamaville,
Searchin' for a job so I can earn my salt.
Some people claim that Bush is to blame,
But I know it's Obama’s fault.

There’s no rhyme or reason,
They are all commitin’ treason
With nothing to show but a brand new tax or two.
But they are real beauties,
Despotic duties, how they got passed
I haven't a clue.

Wasted away again in Obamaville,
Searchin' for a job so I can earn my salt.
Some people claim that it’s Bush we should blame,
Now I think,-- hell with them it’s Obama’s fault.

I blew out my flip flop,
Stepped on a pop top;
Cut my heel, but I just cruise on back home.
Because no medical care will the doctors render
They say there’s little service I can tender
And there’s no need for me to hang on.

Wasted away again in Obamaville
Searchin' for a job so I can earn my salt.
Some people claim that Bush is to blame,
But I know, it's my own damn fault.
Yes, and some people claim that Bush is to blame,
And I know because of my vote it's my own damn fault damn fault.

I don't think any of it matters.

I think The Community Organization Formerly Known as ACORN has so much much election fraud machinery in place that the only way Obama can lose is if we nuke every inner-city precinct in the country the day before the election.

Short of that, we can only look forward to Obama II, III, IV...

Or five years, eight months, and one day . . . in which case we are in DEEP trouble.

As much as I would like to see the anti-American druggie disappear back into a crack house sooner rather than later (just paraphrasing his own writing - or was that terrorist Bill Ayers?), there is no guarantee either way for 2012. We have to nominate a real conservative who will roll back the terrible laws and policies of these four dreadful years, and we have to work like we have never worked before, both in the primaries and in the general election. We have to train as poll watchers and then be there to prevent SEIU and ACORN from stuffing the ballot boxes or the electronic equivalent.

This is going to be a tough one, even in Palin or DeMint is our nominee. If Romney gets the nomination, then I give up. He will reinforce Obama's policies, and America will never recover, at least not without watering the tree of liberty.

so who should we help get elected?

how about one of these;

Cain, Huntsman, Perry, Pawlenty, Daniels.

we have lots of good ones. the media is steering us to Romney. Why?

we need to get behind one of the real conservatives before it is too late.

I can’t take credit for the picture that’s from The Iowa Hawk, but the song lyrics are all mine!
