Obama has been warming up to this for some time. His clear distaste for Israel and his infamous snubbing of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu all pointed to Obama’s attitude that Israel is an ‘occupier’ of Palestinian land. This is nonsense but it dovetails perfectly with the Arab and leftist, anti-Israel point of view. Now, comes the backlash. Israel will not commit a form of national suicide to please the Marxist in the White House, whatever that may cost in U.S. financial aid and ‘good will’. Neither mean much if tiny Israel is overrun by murderous Muslims that have been trying to get rid of the Jews in their neighborhood for over 60 years.

Obama's string of demands on Israel is is actually good news. No I'm not crazy, OK perhaps a little but not about this. If Obama's plan had been even remotely reasonable there is the possibility that Israel, having no friends remaining, would have made concessions. By making the demands so completely outrageous Obama has made the plans a complete non starter. Israel can win a short violent war. They cannot endure a siege forever.

And there is a time for every event under heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1 This is the time for Israel to fight for its very survival. Obama's tone deaf diplomacy has ensured that the pointless talking will end.

Israel should take a page out of the Photoshopper-in-Chief’s playbook and immediately Photoshop the 1967 map of the middle east and claim all of Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria as their own.
