Orbitz might as well learn there’s no pleasing these GLBT people, who are a very small crowd.

How nice. They’re going to give me a list of advertisers to support. Thank You!

In a depression, advertisers will be grateful for any TV time and happily ignore the haters of capitalism. One hopes.

Orbitz is a target at DropFox because the online travel company has embraced lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgenders, a community Media Matters says Fox News maligns.

Um, huh? So Orbitz embraces the very crowd that probably make up most of MM, and MM responds with a boycott? So if you support Orbitz, you're supporting what? And if you boycott Orbitz, you're supporting what? Only one word describes this boycott. "FAIL".

Unfortunately for media matters, while some advertisers may easily scare at first, at the end of the day, they want one thing: eyeballs. As long as Fox does not go down the terlet, they will still have them.

“lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgenders, a community Media Matters says Fox News maligns.”

What a lie - FNC doesn’t malign that (or any other) community - Shep Smith has a twice-daily show, doesn’t he?

‘my bad :-)))

IIRC, FOX has more viewers then all the Marxist networks put together.
I use to see the figures on Drudge, but I do not see them now.

I think the advertisers are going to advertise where they have the most viewers.

Media Matters is boycotting FOX News AGAIN? Maybe the 5th time is the charm. Wake me when they have an original idea.

“while Huckabee compared homosexuality to pedophilia and necrophilia”

All three used to be lumped under the general label of “paraphilias” in the diagnostic bible of psychiatrists.

What’s the problem?

Just become a bunch of queers fought to have it ‘omitted’ doesn’t mean it isn’t still valid.

It still IS an aberrant sexual deviation/attraction, same as the others.

Chicago based politics written large.

The liberal/progressive/socialist sector abandoned any rational response to their opponents a long time ago. I would suggest that it started in the mid to late 1960s with their protesting the Vietnam War.

Since then they have refined the procedure to the point that you can almost predict their actions months in advance.

Our liberal/progressive/socialist sector can only succeed if they can shut off all debate on any subject. The first debate that they lose will unleash a flood tide of other debates and losses.

Proof of statement?

Look at the increase in the number of state legislatures considering restricting public union bargaining to just salaries once Wisconsin passed their law.

I fully expect for that concept to spread to other issues as we move closer to and pass the 2012 elections.

Advertisers are more than welcome to go with Chrissy the Hissing Sissy on MS-DNC, but since there is no viewership for that show, I say go for broke since that’s where those advertisers will wind up - broke. Maybe “Depends” would be a good advertiser for Chrissy due to his “tinkle down the leg” problem.

Wathcdog group. Yeah right. Watchdog groups don’t call for boycotts because they disagree politically. Democrat-controlled lobbying group is more like it

I don't believe Fox dropped Glenn because of advertisers...advertisers go where the viewership is. 9 out of 10 of them could not care any less what the show’s leaning is.
