In a pair of conservative talk show appearances Wednesday night, Sarah Palin defended presidential contender Newt Gingrich's criticism of fellow Republican Paul Ryan's Medicare plan by reiterating her frustration with the “leftist lame-stream media."
On Sean Hannity’s Fox News show, Palin argued that Gingrich had no reason to apologize for calling Ryan’s Medicare plan “right wing social engineering.”

While I did not see the exchange, I, while channeling surfing came across Greta describing the little ‘o’ having a one on one with ‘jon stewart’. The suppose readers and talkers of the news outlets appear to be green with envy over ‘jon stewart’s celebrity status appearing to report the news.
And so someone at ABC wants to make a controversy to garner themselves attention, no matter what kind of attention, attention nonetheless.

My wife and I love Sarah, but tonight we honestly thought she was saying Newt shouldn’t worry about the media.
Well, she’s right there, but she seemed to be totally missing the point that Newt had pissed off most of the Republication party, including the Tea Partiers and other conservatives.
Nobody gives a rat’s ass whether he upset the media, but she kept going on about the media, as if anyone thought that was what mattered. What mattered to me me is Newt’s swipe at Ryan, and then his “Who you gonna believe, me or your lying ears?” backpedaling.
This attack on Palin is no surprise. Same old, same old...
In this Election Cycle, the only defense is a good offense. I hope the GOP grows a pair and backs up whatever Candidate runs in the General. That is if the Candidate doesn't lay down like McCain did.

I could care less what Newt said about Paul Ryan’s budget plan or anything else that comes out of his pie hole. Newt was a clown when he was Speaker of the House. His time was over when he pushed term limits aside. Or was it when he left Congress, Or was it when he sat on he global warming couch with Nancy. Maybe it was when he left his first wife, or his second wife?
I not only saw the inteview, I videotaped it. She did NOT agree with Newt's position, merely defended his right to state his beliefs.

I hope if she runs for president she quits using the term "lamestream media". There's ways to take it to the MSM without creating bits for SNL, Letterman, Stewart, etc. to mock her. On Morning Joe this morning they played the clip where Palin referred to the lamestream leftist media and everyone around the table started snickering. Why give them ammo?
Oh and as far as Newt apologizing, it wasn’t the MSM that forced him to do it, it was conservative media, talk radio, etc. The MSM loved what he said as they knew the Dems would be able to use it in TV ads, which I believe Chuck U Schumer has already said they’re going to do.

You seem to forget that Gov Palin come under assult from both after the election. Why would Gov Palin make any distinction of the media between left/right at this point.
