Motor Voter...meet Photo ID

I find it interesting that the liberals supported registering to vote at the RMV but opposed using the id’s to vote.

How long until an enemy judge throws it out?

I've not read or heard anything about a challenge. Hope not.

Instead, they’re quiet. Too quiet.

They're probably too busy trying to convince Alvin Greene to quietly go away.

Yep, you’re absolutely right. When registering to vote each person should give all 10 fingerprints (though I’d settle for both thumbs and both index fingers) and the fingerprint placed on the absentee ballot MUST match what’s on record. It still wouldn’t curb the nursing home staff from their shenanigans, but that’s only a relatively small population and can be fixed with separate legislation.

Great news...congrats...

Also, here's a fearless prediction: Black vote will be down in 2012, compared to 2008, because they won't be as energized this time about Obama. However, NAACP will use this factoid as an excuse to file a lawsuit, blaming this bill for supressing minority voter turnout. You can take it to the bank..

“Democrats called the legislation “voter suppression””

Of course it is, right up there with locking the gates on the graveyards on election day.

What are the other states. All red I presume. There has to be more then 11 red states. What’s the hold up on the rest of them.

If all the red states do this, I foresee the blue states having 3 times more people voting in a state then actually live there.

This is the only way we cut down on vote fraud and this is the only way the left can win, so naturally they scream. Well tough s***, that’s what I say. You commie followers won’t have it so easy now.

“I foresee the blue states having 3 times more people voting in a state then actually live there.”

that’s why we have the Electoral College. And that’s why the Dems are desperate to trash that American institution as well.

At FA: Under this scheme, state legislatures would pass legislation that would bind them to award their electoral votes to the winner of the national popular vote—even if the candidate that got the most votes nationally did not carry that individual state. In short, this would be a de facto popular vote for President—and done without amending the Constitution.

So far, seven states and the District of Columbia (with a combined 77 electoral votes) have enacted laws that do precisely this. Should similar laws be enacted in states with an additional 193 electoral votes, de facto popular election of the President will be achieved.

The California legislature, firmly in Democratic hands, was poised to pass similar legislation this week, but with opponents raising fierce objections, the vote was delayed. In Delaware, newly elected state GOP Chairman John Sigler told us, “Liberal Democrats in the state legislature have offered HB 55, and all the Republicans are against it. Republicans here are strongly opposed because it would repeal the Electoral College by implication. And in basically writing off many states, rural areas, and people, it would lead to rule by tyranny.”

We must fight this with everything we have.

Keep the Electoral College, voters will be disenfranchised

I say if you are required to be molested to fly on a plane, you might as well have to show your id to vote. Seems fair.
