In a stunning development one day after the release of Where's the Birth Certificate? The Case that Barack Obama is not Eligible to be President, by Dr. Jerome Corsi, World Net Daily Editor and Chief Executive Officer Joseph Farah has announced plans to recall and pulp the entire 200,000 first printing run of the book, as well as announcing an offer to refund the purchase price to anyone who has already bought either a hard copy or electronic download of the book.

My post was in reply to someone who said:
“Ill be so happy when Birthers stop posting and allow us the freedom to discuss what our own interestes are.”
So, if someone wants to whine about what we are posting they can always just go away.
Thanks for your thoughts on Corsi’s book!
Allow me to remind you that this is a privately held website. You are NOT free to discuss anything you want here. You must behave within the guidelines stated on the main page of the owner’s site, if not....he will gladly show you the door.
Thanks for the reminder, but it wasn't necessary. The discussion centered around individuals engaged in the exchange of ideas and someone who doesn't like the discussion doesn't think it should happen. As you so generously pointed out, this is Jim Robinson's site and he should make that call, or others that he has entrusted with making the call, but someone who just doesn't like the topic should just refrain from reading the thread. Nice little treat about the door, and I can assure you I do make an effort to abide by FR's guidelines, but trust me when I say that my life would go on should I be shown the door. Have a super, duper, wonderful evening and I am sure there are those that appreciate your vigilance on behalf of valued members of Jim's site.
You’re welcome!
And you know, you are right....I am rather "vigilant" when it comes to the scum who take pride in accepting money to disrupt honest discussions. People like that SHOULD be shown the door, and, let's face it LuvFR, who gives a fig if their sordid little "life would go on" afterwards, or not.
You have a "super, duper, wonderful evening" yourself.
Based on your reply I think it is pretty evident who has the “little life” ;-)
Not sure where you are taking this, but I’m always happy to listen. Anything troubling you?
But there is a difference between writing satire, and simply writing lies.
This stunt by Esquire is not satire or art of any kind. It's a fabrication that was clearly intended to deceive and damage.
Esquire execs are betting they'll get away with it, and they're probably right. Chances are, if it goes to court, a leftist judge will dismiss the case.
And you know that Sarah didn’t participate in the clarfication how?
Because there is no time when he ever asks Sarah to clarify it, waits for her answer, and then translates her answer.
That does not accord with what I hear on the tape. At 4:58, McRae finishes asking if Obama was born in Mombasa. At 5:04, the first translator starts speaking. It then becomes hard for me (not speaking either Swahili or Luo) to figure out when the first translator stops and the second starts. At 5:20 I can definitely hear a female voice, but it is very faint, as it is whenever the female voice speaks. At 5:25, (21 seconds) the translator speaks English "no, Obama wasn't born in Mombasa, he was born in America."
Listening to the earlier portions of the tape, there were several exchanges. One exchange had the McRae portion finishing at 2:38, and the English translator answer beginning at 2:54 (16 seconds) and another had Mcrae finishing at 3:36 and the English answer starting at 3:51 (15 seconds). So I'm not sure how you figure there was insufficient time, since the earlier exchanges were even shorter.
Sorry man, but it was obvious satire. The insertion of Capricorn One should have been enough of a giveaway for anyone.
