AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and he’s not retiring until every American agrees with him, do NOT doubt him, with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (that’s Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! America’s anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do—that’s host. Get ready to what you were born to do—that’s listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

O’Donnell clearly outshone Coons in that debate. It was clear the moderators were “out to get her”. As for Coons, he was a typical egghead liberal, condescending and arrogant. He offered nothing substantial to the debate.

Liberals aren’t the only one defending him. I was listening to Michael Savage the other night and he and some crazy caller were both going on about how it was the result of crazy feminism and a culture that is to quick to judge a man guilty after accusations of rape. They were all on some crazy conspiracy to bilk him of money. I don’t know why I always will give his show another chance. I guess it’s because if I’m in my car at that time there isn’t anything else to listen to here.

From now on I’ll just drive in silence. I’m so done with him

Mitt’s toast. I don’t have the deep hatred for him that others’ do, and I could care less about his religion, but on the other hand, not sorry to say that I don’t think he’s got a chance. I rather enjoyed the speech he gave after dropping in 2008; but it was just a speech, after all. I don’t waste time worrying about his “threat” because I don’t think he is in the position to be a threat to anything. He just makes me feel....nothing. lol. No hatred, no excitement, just apathy.

As for Fred, I think he quit on his race before he even began it.

WAY TO GO DINGY HARRY!!! A full waiver from PPACA for the entire state of Nevada. Between you and Pelosi, I think you two add up to over 50% of the handed out waivers of the bill that HAD TO BE PASSED TO SEE WHAT’S IN IT!!!

OMG that would be hilarious to see Newt debate Biden

What I DONT want to see is Newt debate Palin - the level of discourse would be so far above what the libtards can handle, they would be having meltdowns into their sandals.

wait...

Yeah... that’s the ticket- I SURE WOULDNT WANT TO SEE NO DEBATE by Palin and Newt, liberals- that would be JUST AWFUL

And if “mitt” was there looking silly and foolish that would sure be bad too

Don’t get me started. I’m not denying that some accusations are bs (I always wonder about the Mike Tyson incident); but it amazes me how, in high profile cases, rape shield laws go completely out the window and the victim is trashed, like in the Clintoon case, and the Kobe Bryant case.

Eeek. Savage was always difficult for me to listen to. I don’t think this guy was well enough known here in America to be “set up” by a maid? I mean, how long had the maid been employed by the hotel? Seems like a giant conspiracy.

I didn’t but it doesn’t surprise me. Liberals run on hate. The fact that they are still after O’Donnell enforces my belief in her as a good conservative.

In the time since Newt has been out of elected office, he has done very little to advance conservatism. His nuanced attempts to reconstruct parts of the conservative agenda hasn't worked.

Actually, quite the opposite. Since resigning Speaker's seat he's done more for conservatism than most so-called "conservatives" ("compassionate" or not) - see the link in my post #57 to Gingrich's Secret Weapon: Newt Inc. - FR / WSJ, 2011 May 15, post #56

He also used the life in private sector to repair his personal life by finally getting out of failed marriage (that could happen, even to Rush - several times; and Reagan was the only great President in the last 50 years despite also being the only one who was married more than once) - see Jackie Gingrich Cushman : Setting the Record Straight (about my dad's first marriage) - FR, 2001 May 15, post #55

He also put forth in practice, in private sector the things other "conservative" politicians only advocate others to do.

Oh NO!

What is Rush thinking? He spent most of the day delegitimizing him.

rush ain’t running for office

instead of putting your energy into making apologies and excuses for failures in newt, maybe you should look for someone without newt’s shortcomings
